If you have OEM BMW (or apparently Mini) roof bars, the standard T-track adapters that come with Thule bike racks in North America are too small to properly fit in the tracks. This product is the proper size for those bars. For some reason Thule doesn't sell these adapters in North America, which is why I assume they are fairly expensive from sellers on Amazon, eBay, etc. But this does solve the problem, so I appreciate that someone has offered these for sale.

Like mentioned in other reviews, if you have OEM BMW aero roof bars, you will need these to fit Thule bike racks. Product is fine, however they are well overpriced for what they are, these should be included in the box for free.
