These are smaller than the original load stops I had on my truck. I have an older Thule rack and one of the load stops was lost so I've been looking for a replacement unit for a while. The price for the set of 4 was about the price I would have paid for one of these on a different site so I decided to give it a try. Had to modify these a bit to get them to work with my rack but I like the new design and they look great.

I purchased these and bought the rails for my new Santa Fe (2019 new style) at REI!Rails and everything worked great.Went to put these in and for some reason they are not cut right as the rails that slide into the tracks is not manufactured correctly and too big.Tried to file a little bit of the track down and started to fit but too much work, i gave up and rack and road thought that was odd as well.

Paint peels after a couple months in Fl sun. Knobs will break off if tighten to much. Should have aluminum knobs. Please make upgraded version! ;)

Fits and works perfectly. You need to use the roof rack key to remove the cover to slide them on/off, but that’s easy enough for the quality of these. Was planning on needing to grind the bolts down to fit but turns out to just fit nicely without any modification.Roof Rack: BDENV3840

I have these on my primary rack on my truck. They are reliable and well manufactured. I had one stolen so I had to buy these replacements.Not being able to get one at a decent price stinks. These are a bit pricey!

These work great on my Porsche 911. So if you need something to secure lumber, or a ladder or something like that on your Porsche Roof Transport System for your 996/997 this works great. The only downside is the noise.

I guess at some point, Thule took over the manufacture of TracRac accessories, like the ladder/lumber racks I bought in 2005 to fit my pickup siderails? I needed replacement tiedowns and these from Thule on Amazon looked different but I couldn't find anything else online. Be warned that these will not fit a TracRac rack without some work. Each tab and T-bolt is too big to fit into the square gap in the rack T-groove. I popped the endcaps off my rails to slide these Thule tiedowns into the rail from the very end. But then I found you first you will need to grind down the sides of the tab and T-Bolt as they are too wide for the TracRac groove. If I didn't desperately need these for a job, I would have returned them and hoped to find some used TracRac tiedowns somewhere.

It isn't very clear from the listing I assumed that I was getting a pair of load stops however I was pleasantly surprised to find a set of four in the package.This makes the stops themselves good value for money, as with most thule kit they work very well but you have to check the tightness of the knobs regularly.

It is just as expected but not many people will find this because for some reason it is listed as a chidren bell but rest assured this is a Thule stopper and works amazingly good on any aero bars

Yes the lock well. Tip, add some Neverseaze to the locking know handle if you live on the "wet coast" and they will work great for a long time.
