I purchased this bag to cut my losses because I was selling my bass, and I needed some sort of case to present it with. The hardshell cases for Tbirds are quite expensive, and unless you can find it cheap on ebay, most likely you'll need to come back here for a deal on a cheaper gig bag. It fits the bass nicely, had two pockets for equipment, and it seems very sturdy. It works great, and I recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to spend too much cash on a hard case.

This is a good gig bag with just over half an inch of padding and zippers work well. I bought it for a Dean barritone but the body of mine is wider than the bag. But if you have a Thunderbird Bass it will do the job.

I ordered my bag about four days ago and it arrived yesterday morning. It appears to be exactly as advertised and in quality and construction very similar to Roadrunner gig bags that I've bought from Guitar Center. Zippers and seams appear durable, or at least as durable as you should expect from a soft gig bag. Not a whole lot of padding but enough to protect your Tbird from basic wear and tear. Of course if you're not going to be careful with your equipment and really want some protection you should be purchasing the hardshell case. On the other hand if you're looking for a reasonably priced gigbag you've found the right product. It is available at a very reasonable price, is comparable to other gigbags on the market (No worst than the Roadrunner gigbag I have for my Yamaha), and will likely arrive promptly. The two zipper compartments on the front of the bag are nice, plenty big enough for a few accessories (a couple guitar cables and my Snark pedal fit without any problems), and I'm confident that the shoulder straps on the back of the bag will remain securely attached (they appear sturdy). Assuming there are no technical malfunctions this product (especially considering the pricing and alternatives) is definitely a five star. I'll be sure to update my review and change ratings if I have any technical issues in the coming weeks.

It’s big. It’s well padded. It fits that boat anchor of a thunderbird that we all know and love. Great product at a great price.

When I first got this i thought it was pretty burly but after a few months it starts to shred to pieces at the seams. It finally kicked the bucket just short of 2 years dragging it around NYC and on tour. Fits great and I love the design, just wish it were actually durable

I wanted to get a case to protect and to fit my Thunderbird bass, but I didn't want to pay too much. I found this case for a great price, and it served the purpose. I highly recommend this, for the price it's amazing.

I bought this gig bag because, as many Thunderbird bass owners, I'm tired of carrying that gigantic hardshell case around that didn't fit inside my car's trunk. I was a bit skeptical, but decided to give it a shot and for $44.95 and Amazon's return policy, I had nothing to loose. It works great for me. It fits my Gibson Thunderbird well and the padding, which I'm guessing is between 1/2 and 3/4 inch thick does the job for me. After all, it's a gig bad and it is not designed to be throwing it around. if you're careful, you should be fine.It has a rubber base at the bottom that doesn't show in the pictures provided by the supplier. It also has 2 big pockets and shoulder straps. seems well built. it has a carrying handle too.Bottom line is: It's a gig bag. It should serve you well if you are careful enough.
