This product is a 2 1/2 foot USB-A to USB-Mini cord.Although the product description and photo descriptions repeatedly say it is a “charger,†it is not. No power block is included, it is just a cord.Using my own power block, I successfully charged my old touch-screen MP3 player using this cord. Back in the day, one could find cords like this at the dollar store. But now they are getting a lot less common, so I was happy to find this and order it.I seriously considered reducing my rating by one star because the seller describes this product as a charger, but as mentioned, it is only a cord with no power block and hardly qualifies as a charger. As a future product improvement, I recommend the seller update the product description and photo descriptions and remove the word “charger.â€In summary, the product functioned as designed and I am pleased that I ordered it.

This cable is for someone who has plenty of charging bricks laying around and does not another one.It's just a short (under 3') USB A to Mini USB cable. There are other charger/cable combos out there for under $9, and plenty of Mini USB cables for under $5.There is nothing special or proprietary to Texas Instruments devices for any Mini USB cable, including this one. They ALL work on the Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator.
