After a couple of months of trying to pull ticks off with my hands encased in plastic bags and all sorts of theatrics, I finally decided that there has to be a better way to pull off ticks from our dog. Enter.. Ticked Off! I received it yesterday, and when our dog home from the kennel today - I immediately found a couple of dog ticks on him, half-engorged - Ugh. Grabbed the tick spoon, carefully framed the tick between the crevice of the spoon and slid it forward - scooping up the tick successfully. Barely took 10 seconds, and the tick's head was intact. It didn't pull off any of the dog's skin (which is what happens when I use my fingers to pull a tick off). Fast, easy and effective. My next line of attack against the ticks will be Frontline Plus, and possibly Preventic collars - but that's another review or two!

This worked so good that I sent the link to friends. If only I earned commission 😂 if ticks are in your area, this is absolutely the best way to remove them!

Wow! We received this today and already used it. The tick had not attached yet, but we removed it the same way and did not have to touch it and possibly get a disease passed on. I see not reason that it will not work and am pleased with our purchase. ***New note: We have used this four times on our dog and once on my wife. For such a simple item, it works GREAT. I look at it and think I could have made it, but who cares. It was a small amount of money well spent. If you are in a tick area, you need one of these.

I was so excited to find this tick remover! It is white, which is my favorite color, and it removes ticks quickly and easily. It is also very affordable. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a tick remover.

I used this while working a a boy scout camp for a few summers as the first aider. Boy scouts in Ohio know how to find ticks and get them in some strange places. Following the CDC guidelines on tick removal this tool is the simplest tool for the job. Getting the whole tick is the most important thing when removing the tick. Often when using tweezers you can leave the head. With Ticked Off you just slide the spoons v shaped notch under the back side and around the head of the tick and lift straight up slowly. I've pulled over 500 ticks off scouts and have never left any part of the tick behind. They even work for those pestsy seed ticks that are so small you can barely see them. Small enough to put in a backpacking first aid kit, light enough to keep attached to your dog's leash.
