I like that this lock has holes you use for the sizing instead of something like a ratchet system because it makes for a very definite size and locking. I'd give this a 4.5 because the locking mechanism is a little hard to adjust and lock when you install it - the handle isn't very long so you don't have a lot of room between the ground and the lock to get the key in. A handle about an inch or two longer would make it much easier. BUT it's not all that difficult, it's just that it could be easier.

I like how these serve as both wheel locks and wheel chocks. I ordered a pair of these red & black and to my pleasant surprise, they don't share the same key! which is unlike the other pair of yellow and red wheel locks/chocks that I also bought on amzn

I bought t his after my car was stolen from my driveway. Haven't had my car stolen since but you never know why.Relatively easy to use and seems to be at least a deterrent.

Any smart thief would be able to get it off in seconds but would be able to get anything off. For me this is a Visual deterrent much like the Hitch lock and the chains. All can be removed but I want would be thieves to just think it's not worth the effort and move on to something easier

This is just a deterrent for sure. It gave me some peace of mind knowing that people tend to go for easy things, so this could have scared off people. However, if they really wanted my trailer it would have been easily taken off.I used this on a U-Haul Trailer. I had to put the connection point at the very last spot, barely working. This is also the weakest point as there is no thick metal just two thin pieces with a tiny pin. Putting on was a bit of a headache. I had to wiggle it get it into place. I would recommend for short term use only.
