Why do masks fog?
Masks fog when water vapor condenses on the inside of the lens and beads up, creating tiny water droplets (fog) that are hard to see through. The amount of fog depends on factors such as temperature, humidity, and cleanliness of the lens.
Why doesn't the Tidal Mask fog?
The Tidal Mask's hydrophilic technology prevents tiny water droplets (fog) from forming on the inside of the lens by creating a sheeting effect. The advanced anti-fog technology spreads water out in a very thin layer across the entire surface of the inside of the lens, so it is easy to see through!
Comfortable fit that will not leak
The Tidal Mask uses a high quality silicone skirt and a two-way adjustable strap; this design helps to create a perfect seal that will not leak.

We bought two of these masks and they are great. Way better than the less expensive masks we have been using. The no-fog thing really does work most of the time. One day I was getting a little foggy and I gently put a little anti-fog juice in and then it was perfect. The optic quality is way better than previous masks I have used. Everything is just a lot sharper and easier to see. It’s true that you have slightly less peripheral vision with the solid sides, but I think this actually makes the mask work better because there are no reflections and no side glare.My wife and I have very different face sizes, but these masks fit us both with no leaks. If you do get water in the mask there is no way to clear it other that pulling the mask off and dumping out the water but I rarely had to do this because they just didn’t leak much. The rubber is very soft and is more comfortable than other masks I have used although there is not much room between your face and the glass, so if you tighten the mask too much it can hurt where the glass presses into your head. I found that loosening the strap still gave a waterproof seal and was more comfortable.

I ordered two of these masks for me and my buddy, we are environmental divers that spend 4-8 hours under the water every day, a fogging mask in not an option they are also super comfortable on the face the silicone is perfectly soft. My favorite thing about the mask is its volume it’s got that wide angle for scuba diving and also it’s relatively low volume and I love free diving with it too.

As a scuba instructor and snorkel guide in Hawaii for many many years I’ve purchased, tried, and used many different snorkel masks but I have to say this is the best one by far! Not only is it super comfortable and fits perfect with no leaks but the antifog system they have created has been a game changer! The worst thing when you’re leading tours is your mask fogging up and not being able to see guests or wildlife but in the many years I’ve been using this mask I have not had an issue! I started with their original and have used it everyday and even though there is nothing wrong with it I decided to order another one just because their new colors are amazing! I mean, who doesn’t love a beautiful white mask that actually works! Thanks Tidal mask for making our lives as dive guides that much more fun and beautiful!

Wow, what a difference these Masks have made. I spent 10 days snorkeling in Maui as well as the Big Island with complete clarity the entire time. I've used a number of different masks, and all of those on Amazon for $20 with anti-fog labeled are basically pulling your leg. Using anti-Fog on them only works for a short time. These Tidal mask are quite expensive from what I'm used to but the results are amazing due to their anti-fog sticker being used with anti-fog spray. I first used the mask snorkeling to test without the spray, some fog occured. Later I added two sprays per side, rinsed it out with fresh water per the instruction and was amazing suprrised the combination of sticker + spray lasted the entire day without fogging. Entire day for me is about 2-3 hours of snorkeling straight without having to make any additional adjustments. The clarity was crystal clear, I've never been able to experience the same kind of clarity with other googles and really recommend these.Update...Still working amazingly well after 10 months (not continuous snorkeling but multiple trips). My friend got tired of hers and tried mine and asked where I got them. Amazing difference, even if more expensive they are totally worth not having to deal with fogged lenses.

This mask is an incredible uprgrade from the snorkel mask combo that I purchased at Kmart over a decade ago. That mask served me decently over the years and alot of fun was had with it. But the new mask from Tidal is freakin phenominal. I always wanted a mask that was more comfortable and a little more funtional. The Tidal mask is super comfortable and does not leak or fog at all on my face. I have light stubble on my face most always and there were no issues. Coupled to the Tidal dry snorkel and this is one LEGIT setup. I spent zero time fooling with my mask, just cruising around and enjoying the beauty of nature underwater. Pure bliss!! I cannot say enough good things about it. The dry snorkel they make worked phenominally as well. With it being a dry snorkel you can dive down under water and not get water in your snorkel. This makes for a much more free and easy experience. Also without having to worry about getting water in the snorkel you can get into the water much more easliy. I can just drop in backwards like a pro now! For some reason it doesnt look quite as dorky as the typical snorkel mask. Lets face it they all make you look dorky lol, But I was having too much fun to care!Advice: GO OUTSIDE!

I work on a snorkel boat out of Maui, as a lifeguard. I have to have my mask and snorkel on me, but only wear them occasionally (point out a cool fish or finding turtles). I was excited for the anti-fog lenses, and it did work... for the first three days. I always rinsed my mask in fresh water and allowed to dry, then put it in its case. They fog up in 5 min now. 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸ They have a great seal, quality strap and fit great, but I bought them for the anti-fog.

The mask fogged up on each of my first two dives. I never touched the interior of the lens as instructed by the packaging guide. I switched back to my old mask for my next 6 dives. No issues with fogging up with the old mask. Glad I didn't rely on the new mask without having a backup mask. I'll give it a rating of one star because it didn't leak. Wasted my money expecting a superior product. Live and learn is all I can say.
