Color matches my white cabinets. It's sturdy, solid wood, and is perfect for our kitchen trash can. We had an automatic can we loved but the dogs figured out how to open it, so it was a pain. This is perfect. The deodorizer just plugs in and at present we have not tried it. The value is good, it's solid wood. Functions nicely and hides the garbage completely. The can I bought for the trash can liner is the Rubbermaid 10 gallon off Amazon.

I absolutely love this trash can. The color matched my cabinets perfectly and the size and height is ideal. It is definitely a 2 person job though. It took us a few hours to build. Lots of parts. The directions were good just complicated. It’s still worth the time for the quality of the product.

The pieces seem to be very good quality and decently sturdy. I was very thankful that, due to the amount and variety of pieces of hardware to put together, they were all very well labeled and directions were pretty easy to follow. It's definitely a two man job and it will take up to 2 hours to put together. there are some spots that are missing holes for the screws and I had to drill my own, but I knew about that from previous reviews. I also saw not to put heavy loads in the can but I have yet to test that out. You WILL have to buy a trash can to fit as the fabric bag they give you is very cheap quality and will not hold much at all. But overall SO FAR, it's a great piece that is helping clean up the look of my kitchen and give me some more counter space.

Was not too hard to assemble, product looks amazing, it sits in my kitchen and i absolutely love it.In-built de-odour mechanism is a cool easy to use feature and works well.Love this piece, pretty and functional

This is a beautiful trashcan! It is a decent size (it fits a 11-12 gallon trash can. We use 13 gallon bags. It comes with a cloth bag, which we replaced with a plastic can (bought separately). We thought it would be sturdier and easier to clean with a plastic can.It is very sturdy (we did not attach it to the wall).It has a built in stop to prevent the lid from falling open, which makes emptying the trash much easier (you can grab the garbage bag instead of having to hold the lid open).It was easy to assemble - I put it together without help from my husband. You will need some extra tools to make it go a little faster (I recommend a small and large screw driver).They provide a few extra parts - which is nice if you break a part or it gets lost during assembly.We have had it for a few months now and have no complaints. It works very well and looks great!Would buy again.

Was surprised about the quality of the wood as well as the finish. I don't use the air freshener thing, but it's aesthetically pleasing. 3 kids have been beating it up for about a year and it still looks like it's out of the box. We wipe it down weekly with Lysol wipes and it hasn't faded, chipped, peeled -- nothing!

It's really cute and a great idea. Looks good, very functional.HOWEVER, it took as long to assemble as the hardest IKEA item we've ever done (90 min, required two of us at points).The vent stopped working after just a few months, was a nice added feature to reduce odor, but now it stinks a fair amount. The fact it has a large hole in the back for wire to go through, it's quite big for fruit flies and insects to get into. We've had a lot of problems with fruit flies flying around, and its closure isn't as tight as a typical trash can with a lid. I suppose all of that is not necessarily the fault of the design, but with the fan and deodorizer going out a few months into it, it taking a long time to put together, and the build quality being very average, I think it is a pretty poor quality product.

Bought this to add a bit of surface space to my kitchen as well as clean up the trash area. The trash bin is smooth, works well, holds the trashcan perfectly, opens the right amount, and even comes with foam pads to soften it while closing.I'm personally not utilizing the odour neutralizing component as I've read ozone isn't exactly good to be pumping into your home, though I'm sure that's up for debate. Even without it, I haven't noticed any off scents or anything, so it's doing a great job of hiding the garbage scents anyways (I compost, so anything compostable does not go in here).Visually, it looks great, too. I love the size, the wood is nice, and it's well-painted. The building process takes a bit and is kind of annoying (still very easy), but it's worth it in the end. I also appreciate the addition of adjustable feet so that you can make sure it's level and not wobbly.
