I recently purchased the Aimbo Wireless HDMIVideo Transmitter, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. I use it to transmit my 16-channel closed-circuit surveillance video to other rooms in my house, and it works flawlessly. One of the standout features is that the transmitter and receiver come already paired, making setup incredibly simple. The transmitter also has an HDMI in-and-out connection, which adds versatility. I also appreciate the various power options, from battery-powered to other sources, allowing for flexibility depending on the setup. Most importantly, the video connection is rock solid—no freezing, lag, or distortion in the display, which is crucial for surveillance purposes. I was also pleasantly surprised to find additional uses for the device in the manual that I hadn't initially considered, showing its adaptability for other applications. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and high-performing wireless HDMI transmitter, I highly recommend Aimbo's product. It's a fantastic solution for transmitting video seamlessly and without compromise.

How it started: Hope it was a fluke. The TX unit booted only once. It is now stuck in booting... when powered on. Ordering another asap as we are in a bind. Wish us luck. How it's going: Unit performs as specified! Pretty good range, seems untroubled by wood, drywall, and human bodies. The multichannel scan is reassuring in a complex electronic environment where you can be sure you aren't the only one putting signal into the spectrum.A big plus is a large, clear display letting you know what is going on with the unit. Another is a solicitous vendor backing this unit who emailed me from the start. In this price range, this is a good bet. I do not know what long term reliability will be, but it does have a year long warranty.

This is a great little device for the money! I love how easy it is to use and set up. I will definitely be adding another one in the near future.

Recently, I bought a wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver for my outdoor filming setup. By placing the TX on my Sony camera and the RX on my laptop, which is connected to a video capture adapter, I can now seamlessly monitor my shots without delays or interruptions. I love this tool. It is best for my outdoor filming needs.

Original 1-Star Review – 11/17/24I had earlier ordered the slightly less-expensive Timbootech round transmitter with two receivers. Neither receiver would remain linked over a 50-foot distance with one wall between them. But an email from Timbootech assured me that this newer fancier model would handle the job.So, I bought this newer model. It was a disaster. 1. Although it was better than the first model, this one’s link still dropped out occasionally. 2. The link has a significant delay. If you can hear both ends, it sounds like a bad echo. 3. After a link power-down, you must press a button on each end for 5 seconds to reboot it. 4. After it’s on overnight, It badly screws up the operation of our Xfinity TV Box. 5. After being on for several days, the little transmitter’s fan began to clatter VERY noisily. It’s time to try a different brand.Update – 12/12/24 - Updated to 4-Star ReviewThe company contacted me when they saw the review and graciously apologized. They stood behind their product and offered to refund my cost for the product. They also mentioned that they are developing a product with greater operating distance that will soon be ready for production, and they will contact me when it is ready. For that superior customer service, they deserve a better review.

Very easy to setup. Just plug and play. I used the laptop to power the transmitter and used a USB charger to power the receiver. Some TV's have USB power at the back and could be used to power the device. They have the option to be powered by another DC power supply that would be able to charge the battery pack option that is not included. Signal definitely traveled several hundreds of feet through walls, so could work across levels. note that you could add more receivers to the one transmitter.
