I first bought these a few years ago while yearning for something gay and colorful during the dark time of the pandemic. They didn't waste a lot of material providing assembly instructions but with a quick perusal of the parts they came together readily. I was worried that they might be a bit too flimsy and cheap but as it turns out the old ones are still spinning along, even in the big Lake Michigan gusts. I bought new ones because the colors on the others have become quite faded. I was delighted to get the new ones and the bright, fresh colors are excellent. The patterns on the "balloons" are prettier, too. So now I will hang the old ones in the back yard and the new, fresh ones in the front where I can see them easier. If you are looking for something to give you a happy little smile and a great burst of color in your yard then try these fun balloons.

I purchased 3 balloon style wind socks. They are very pretty and seem sturdy but one of the balloons is missing one of its sails. It seems silly to return all 3 balloons because of one missing piece but the balloon without it looks pretty ridiculous. No foreseeable solution.

I purchased these to replace a different kind of air balloon I had purchased from another seller that was more expensive but last for over a year. These hot air balloons were easy to put together and looked great inside the house. I put all three of them outside and NONE of them lasted one full week. The tails easily got tangled, the panels of the hot air balloon would pop off, and the part that secures the balloon to the hangers broke. If you plan on keeping these inside the house with no wind they are great to look at but they do not function outside. I should have spent more money to get one that lasted a lot longer. Don’t waste your money.

My family loves ballooning. Ever since Dad took the 3 of us kids up on an incredible adventure, Christmas Eve morning 1980. I've become a "Bal-loon-a-tic"!!These spinners are fairly easy to put together. Use caution while connecting the "fins" or panels of the balloon to the top and bottom bases. It's snug! Be very careful not to snap any of the plastic rods in half while you're trying to insert them into every hole, all along the top and bottom of each separate balloon. If you happen to break one, there's NOT a replacement or two. The manufacturer might want to consider it when you have 3 balloons to put together. From my precious experience with spinners, you might want to consider CAREFULLY super glue each rod in place. Then if it gets really windy, they cannot be pull apart. The down side of gluing, then you can't disassemble each panel, of all 3 balloons, to store them away until Springtime through Fall every year. Happy heart, happy memories of ballooning with my Dad. He calculated every measurement, designed each square, cut out all the material, sewed every single stitch of 7, yes SEVEN different hot air balloons. All certified aircraft from the FAA, Federal Aviation Administration. His memory lives on, his balloons still fly. And I seem to buy everything with a balloon on it.

Love the hot air balloon spinners. Once I finally assembled them (difficult) they were amazing. Lovely and whimsical.
