I have a computer that is a few years old that was dragging a bit. Programs get more resource demanding with more features. Operating systems become more resource demanding with more features. And so it's now wonder my computer seems like it's not up to the job anymore.But that is easily, and economically fixed by adding more memory. The Timetec 16GB kit fit the bill for my computer. I've only had installed for a day, but as far as I can tell, it works great and more importantly, my computer is more responsive.

I run Linux and Windows system and lately I am into building smartphone apps. The program you use to build your app with requires a lot of memory; 8 Gig minimum. So, my system only had 4 Gig. Even then I did my best to work on my apps, even though system would take forever to compile, load, launch my app. Sometimes, my whole system would completely freeze requiring system reboot.It got too old working this way. So, I decided to beef my memory on my system. I will tell you that was the best decision I ever made. Once I installed these memory card, my computer system overall is working flawlessly. In fact, my app building compiler is running fast too. No more lagging or freezing. Both my windows and Linux system recognizes these both of the cards and indicates that now I have 16 Gigs. AWESOME!!!! :)I didn't have ONE issue with these memory cards. Apparently, these cards are compatible with everything I have hooked up to my system.Definitely, I would recommend this memory card to EVERYONE and the seller.Happy Amazon shopping, my friends. :)

Older Dell, it's old enough it came with Windows 8. I wanted to speed it up a bit, and found there were 2 open memory slots. A quick look in the specs of the Dell revealed it had enough capacity for 2 more 8gb sticks. I don't want to spend a bunch on this old box, but the price was right. I snapped them in easily, even though this is only the 2nd computer I've been inside. I had to move a few components, but after looking at it a bit the way to do it was clear enough.The new sticks were recognized right away by the system, and after running a test the sticks were found to work just fine. The system is noticeably faster and smoother. Now it's running 24gb total memory; 2x4gb, and 2x8gb. Next upgrade will be an SSD, because, well, why not?

My eight-year-old Dell was gradually slowing down; My programs were taking forever to open, close, and freeze during use. I thought my computer was un-upgradable until I re-read the specs and realized I could upgrade from 8 to a maximum of 16 GB of memory. I've been out of the technological loop for years. I thought it would be expensive, but I was surprised an additional 8Gbs would cost under $20. The two 8 GB sticks popped in effortlessly and ran without problems after the first reboot. The computer and programs are now functioning faster and operating as good as new, if not better.

My old Dell computer has 'tri-channel' memory architecture, meaning that I have to install DIMMs in matching sets of three. They must be identical. I needed a total of six, so I bought a pair (8GB kit) and a four-pack (16GB kit). The six modules matched perfectly and all 24GB of RAM was confirmed on the first boot.

The modules works exacly as expacted. They gave my old HP-desktop computer a well needed boost. The modules a are well worth the price if you have an older PC what uses DDR3-modules.
