My last Timex finally quit working. This one is very similar with improvements. It is easy to see when the alarm is set to alarm one or alarm two. The alarm volume begins softly and gradually increases the volume. I like that the time and alarm sets have both forwards and backwards control.

Sorry, I returned this clock radio. It was a Xmas gift for my husband who wanted one with preset channels. The only problem was it was soooo cheaply made, so we kept our GE Clock Radio from 1998! The quality is unmatched and still works great-he’ll just have to manually find his stations; poor baby. 🤣😂

Difficulty to understand how it works is another story, difficult for me, I'm used to plugging it in the outlet, tune fm/or am and set alarm, this isn't that type of tadio, timex makes great reliable watches, they should concentrate on watches, one of the worst purchases i have ever made in my life, yes, my entire life

DO NOT BUY. Just awful. I read the reviews that it is complicated. But I am a computer programmer. I have a Masters Degree. Yet I absolutely could not program this. Worked on it for over an hour. The instructions are terrible. It is impossible to use. TIMEX is not the brand it once was. Save yourself an afternoon of frustration. Do not buy.
