I purchased two of these for $124 each in June of 2015, for myself and my son. We've used them several times since then. My rating criteria is as follows. If the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc.This is the only paintball gun I've ever owned, so my review isn't a comparison--its just an evaluation of what I've experienced.First, then product works as advertised. The "gun" or "marker" works very well. I adjusted it until it was at the limit at which my local club allows and it shoots very well. In my experience, it is accurate. It seems to be durable. The weight is hefty but not excessive. The trigger pull is crisp. With the CO2 canister screwed on, it is easy to get into shooting position. Most importantly, as a first time paintballer, I never felt like my equipment was holding me back. My skills were, but that's another story. I also like the fact that the gun, being a well known brand, can be upgraded with new barrels, canisters, compressed air, etc. Its a great gun to begin with, but you can grow with it as well.I was a little leery to buy a "package" like this, because often times the things in the package are low quality additions that you wouldn't buy otherwise. However, each item in the package can stand on its own. The included equipment isn't as high quality as some stand alone items I've seen, but they work.After a couple seasons, the guns are still going strong. We try to clean them after each use, but sometimes we don't. I've had no complaints about this gun or my son's gun. If you are looking to get into the sport, this package literally does contain everything you need, at sufficient quality that you won't feel like you are wasting money or will need to immediately replace something.

Great starter/mid kit for any player, extremely accurate gun and good set up.Ditch the CO2 tank for a cheaper 3k Air if you can, unless you know you'll be running CO2I play somewhat regularly and even experienced players with expensive gear are swayed by the look and accuracy of my marker, most recognize it and are in awe of how precise it shoots.No thrills as far as the kit goes, the mask works well, pod vest runs a bit big (easy to adapt/find a new one) and the hopper is as basic as they come, have played countless rounds with this gear and no major disappointment.NOTE:I recommend the tactical edition solely because the knick knacks it come with may prove helpful, and if you ever want to get them later you'll end up dropping more cash on the, than picking them up with it. Don't like them? They all disassemble with ease.As far as color, choose based on where you play, I have olive green due to it being $5 cheaper at the time.

I was given a Brass Eagle Raider for my nephews to use since they live out on some property. I found out, the bolt was missing and the marker was useless. For the cost of the marker, replacing parts is not really worth it. SO I took to Amazon to see what I would be in for if I decided to buy a new setup. Being unfamiliar with paintball, I figured a new setup would be the best place to start, and I had already gotten the nephews hyped up on a marker. After reviewing what Amazon had and looking into the products, I decided on this Cronus package. I couldn't be more pleased after a week. Everything that was mentioned was included. The colors of the tubes are different if that is a big deal to you. For me, it was not. The mask and tactical rig that holds the tubes and air tank are really nice, especially for a beginner's setup. My only complaint is that the barrel squeegee provided is too big to slide past the bolt as the instructions dictate, rendering it useless. I live in Ca, and saw that the one shipper was also located here, so I received my order in a really good time frame using ground. Everything was packaged well, and was as new as if I had purchased from a physical store. The gun feels great in your hand and shoots awesome. I personally dig the sub-machine gun style, and like the fact that there is an assault style upgrade available. I have run about 800 balls (almost a full Co2 canister) through it without a single one chopped. Please note, we do not fire as fast as possible as we all train to double tap at most with our real firearms, so we practice the same with the marker. That probably helps eliminate chopping. I have already ordered a second marker, and have contacted a few folk to get some matches going on our property. This marker would probably need upgrades for those that are a little more serious ( I already want a longer barrel and I haven't even used the marker against anyone yet :) ) but if you are just starting out, I think this is one of the better choices based on my experience out of the box, coupled with customer feedback from various sources.

Purchased with a plastic holder part damaged but rest all good for $140 - definitely worth holding out for a discounted model as this isn't worth the $200+ some stores are asking. A solid entry to the paintball game and offers plenty for beginners and even decent accuracy and quality for more experienced paintballers too. Will be curious to see how it holds up the next couple years.

Like the set for the money I spent it's perfect, I'm playing now and then but this is perfect for a starter! I would so recommend this. just to explain exactly what you get it brings 6 pod waist strap holder and an empire 20oz tank. The mask is nothing fancy just plain and simple it's fog resistance I give it 8 out of 10 so that's a plus when playing the field. The gun is accurate up to 27ft and maybe it would reach up to 30ft with a slight curve depending on the quality paintballs you buy. The speed can be adjusted to improve accuracy that's what I did.
