fit fine and works great. Packaging was good quality and it was exactly as described. I did overpay for this though because if you buy pretty much any Tippman 98 repair kit, usually $10 and comes with a bunch more stuff, this will be one of the components. bought this first then the repair kit. Just a word to the wise. If you have to replace this piece, chances are you need the kit anyway because it is time to replace the seals throughout it.

well beware, i dont know where my first reveiw went,,, it was a stright bashing on the company, didn't ship the right quanity, wouldn't respond, but to my word i said if they fixed it i'd edit my feed back welllll looks like they deleated it, but a man of his word heres my new reveiw. Not only did i finally get the missing iteam's but the company also reembursed me for the trouble/confusion. so i am very happy with the latch i ran two of them this weekend with about 3000 rounds with no problem.s FYI make sure you'r pulling your bolt's back so the latch isn't stuck in the open postion it kills them, so long and short of it they screwd up, fixed it, and all is well...Thank you...

This was so cheaply made it actually broke after about 20 shots and my full day of paint balling was over, dont buy this. The rubber is hard and snapped easily

Bought 3 of this at once to fix two 98customs, these are the exact replacements for the OEM detent. I've looked for these at some local paintball shops and they want about $10 a piece which is outrageous, so I bought 3 here on amazon to save on shipping and the total cost which worked out well. I'd recommend anyone who need this to buy a couple extras just in case and save a few bucks.
