How to Use your AetralYB Tire Pressure Gauge (0-60 PSI)

Step 1: Prepare the Tire

- Remove the cap from the tire’s valve stem. Keep the cap in a safe place to avoid losing it.

Step 2: Confirm the Recommended Tire Pressure

- Refer to your vehicle’s owner manual or the sticker on the driver’s door frame to identify the optimal PSI for your vehicle's tires.

Step 3: Measure the Tire Pressure

- Align the tire pressure gauge with the valve stem and press firmly to ensure a proper seal.

- Hold the gauge in place for a moment to get an accurate reading. The gauge will retain the pressure value for easy viewing after removal.

- Important: Do not use the gauge on tires with pressure exceeding 60 PSI, as this may damage the gauge.

Step 4: Adjust the Tire Pressure (if necessary)

- If the pressure reading is higher than the recommended PSI, press and hold the built-in air release valve (bleeder button) to gradually reduce the tire pressure.

- If the pressure is too low, use an air pump to inflate the tire, then recheck the pressure using the gauge.

Step 5: Replace the Valve Cap

- Inspect the valve cap for dirt or damage. If it is unclean or worn out, replace it with a new cap to protect the valve from dust and moisture.

Pro Tips from AetralYB

- For the most accurate readings, measure tire pressure when the tires are cold (before driving or after being stationary for several hours).

Works well, checked it with two other gauges and it's accurate.

After the first cold snap of winter, the tire pressure sensors in our Bronco went off, giving readings ranging from 25-28 psi. I checked all 4 tires using a cheap dial gauge that I had, and THAT gauge was showing all 4 tires at or above 32psi. Clearly, somebody's not telling the truth... and, in all honesty, I really DID know better than to trust a gauge bought from Dollar General. I decided I needed a better gauge.Searching on Amazon, I was immediately confronted with an array of digital gauges, and seriously considered buying one. The idea of an illuminated digital readout DID have appeal, until I started reading the reviews. While most people liked their purchases well enough, a considerable percentage did not. Typical complaints concerned the batteries; many said that they worked fine until they didn't. Ironically, others complained about the things being TOO accurate - does anyone really need psi readings given to the tenth? NASCAR drivers, perhaps... Not me, that's for sure. It occurred to me that the people making digital gauges were effectively trying to re-invent the wheel. Who needs a complicated electronic battery powered device that can - and in all likelihood WILL - malfunction sooner or later when a simple mechanical gauge will get the job done perfectly well; and, in theory at least, last indefinitely? Not ME.THIS gauge suits me, perfectly. The only potential negative vis a vis the digital gauges is that this one is not back lit; but in the light of my garage, it was easily read with my 60 year old eyes. AND... it agreed with what the Bronco's tire sensors said, 4 for 4. I filled all 4 tires until this gauge read 32, and the warning chimes stopped. *yay!*Bottom line : I couldn't be happier with this purchase. If YOU are considering a digital gauge, do yourself a favor and consider this one instead.

I really appreciate the quality of this air gauge. It's of brass construction, heavy, well made and has a large face that is easy to read. I have used it several times since I received it and it has proven to be very accurate. I'm surprised that such a quality gauge would be available at a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend it.

A lot bigger than I expected but works like it is supposed to. Glows in the dark very well which was very handy last week when my tire pressure light came on and all the tires looked filled but was able to find which one in the dark without holding a flashlight also.

Super low price for this quality. If it lasts, we're golden, big dial face, glow in the dark but needs to be charged with a light source first and reading matches my old one right on!!! She's a keeper I believe!!!
