Had a sharp screw on slight edge of tire and repair shop recommended changing the tire as it was unrepairable. It was a slow leak and kept on filling air for short distance drive for few days, till I received this kit. It was extremely easy - unscrewed the screw from tire, applied glue to the screw plug from kit and screwed it in till all the way in. Filled up air and ready to go. Drove more than 1000 miles and no leaks at all. Am very pleased with this product and suggest to keep it in your car. Never know when it comes in handy. Saved me more than 250 in tire replacement. Very easy fix for nail punctures.

I had a small nail in one tire, the kit with the small screw in seal worked, but being very small I had a garage remove it and patch the hole from the inside. A good help to get to a service garage and do a permanent fix.

Like most serious motorcyclists I carry a small potable compressor and a tire plugging kit for emergencies. As motorcycles do not carry a spare tire, this is a necessity. Previously my plugging kit was a fairly bulky thing with many parts including a special tool for inserting the plug, took up a lot of storage space. This new solution is tiny in comparison and much easier to use, requiring only pliers to remove the offending item, and a screw driver to place the plug.. And, not really works. Recently a friend of mine showed up at my house in his Van with a screw embedded in one of his front tires. We extracted the offending screw and replaced it with one of these tiny self tapping "Tire screws" in about 5 minutes and then re pressurized his tire. It is now over a month later and his tire has not lost pressure. I have now used one of these screws on another friends motorcycle tire with similar positive result. What a great idea. these things really work, and are so quick and easy to use that I have recommended them to all my friends and now recommend them to you.

I heard about these "plastic screws" and figured I'd get a few to try out for my motorcycle trips. Of all of the ones I looked at on Amazon, the Norshire ones were the only to specify "plastic screws" - in the first line of the first paragraph of the product's description. So I paid the premium price ($10 for 10) instead of another $1 or $2 more for as much as a 60ct of plastic covered ALLOY screws. Well, they just arrived, and the outside of the Norshire box states they are "alloy screws", of which I was able to confirm with a magnet.I will keep them, and I will try them when the time comes, but if they're no different than any of the other alloy "plastic" screws, I don't recommend paying $1 per screw when you can get them for $0.20 each or less. The inclusion of the "gift glue" does not, to me, off-set the high price or make this kit preferential to any of the others available.

Purchased the tire repair kit for a flat tire in my truck. I use to use the sticky tar plug that you had to ream and shove in the tire, and that was a pain in the rear. This repair kit you just pull the nail or screw then screw in the plug with some rubber cement and no more leak. It was so easy my wife could do it.

This was my first time using these plugs. It worked great and was easy. My tire dropped from 45 lbs to 29. I discovered I picked up a screw. I got some air and got it up to 49. When I got home and removed the screw air came out in a hurry. I screwed in the plug with ease. Since I put the plug in, it has kept the pressure.

The screws don't do a good job of grabbing the tire, so even after applying the rubber cement and screwing it into the puncture hole, it still leaked, albeit small.Screws are not plastic, they are plastic coated.

Definitely works. My tire is keeping air. Is definitely great for a short term fix.
