The coil gasket in the set is too wide to fit in the groove properly As is the distributor cap gasket. I had to sand them to make them fit. The paper gaskets worked well, much better than the cork/rubber ones. With a little work I got them to fit and they are sealing the distributor.

I upgraded my 1948 Ford 8N to electronic ignition. To make it easier I pulled the distributor off the front of the engine not knowing ahead of time that there was a gasket behind the distributor that was destroyed when it came off. When that happened I ordered the gasket set from Amazon. I was so pleased that this gasket set included a complete set of gaskets to include the dust cover. I would recommend ordering this set especially if you decide to convert to 12V and electronic ignition. Thank You a quality product and fast shipping--Amazon to the rescue...Again!

It's just gaskets, right? Not until you have gone through a few disappointments in the past. Buy these with confidence. I bought extra sets to have on the shelf (for all you 8N owners who recognize that they are well built equipment that require a bit of extra attention at the end of the season but don't mind performing it)
