The continuous tapered spud handle is designed for aligning bolt and rivet holes. Our high tension directional switch reduces unintentional directional changes. The black oxide finish mars a little easier than I thought it would, but this has otherwise been a very useful tool for my assembly projects. The tapered handle has been invaluable for lining up bolt holes on several of my larger equipment projects

Like everyone else said the coating could be a little more durable but since it doesn’t affect the use of the tool who cares. It wouldnt stay pretty long even if the coating was jam up. It’s a good buy

Quality built good value for the money keep in mind it is not chrome plating. The handle can be used as a prybar which is great.

This ratchet has a strange socket head. Too large for 3/8 or 1/2 inch sockets
