I wasn't sure whether to get these or the Rehband's and I'm very happy I choose these. My knees feel like they are brand new when I squat with them and they are drenched in sweat when I take them off. Once you figure out how to put them on it's really easy, they fits securely without needing to be pulled them up or adjusted while working out and moving around. I have no doubt that if I bought these 3 years ago I wouldn't have near they knee pain that I have now. I'm about 5'10" and 190lbs and the mediums are very snug.Update** March 12** After 4 months my TK sleeves show no signs of wear and do not seem to be stretched out at all. They still are very tight and I find them to be much more supportive then Rehand clones like the Sling Shot knee sleeves that I also purchased. I use these knee sleeves twice a week for squats and they are perfect in that capacity. I think that they would be too stiff and restrictive for crossfit type activity though and that could contribute to all the quality issues. They do rip out my leg hair but it's a small price to pay for happy knees.Update**October After 11 months my TK sleeves are still perfect, They have not stretched out or torn. I still wear them on days when I squat heavy. My slingshot sleeves tore after only a handful of uses.TK sleeves are superior than the sling shot sleeves on the only downside is that they take me longer to put on because they kill my leg hair. I would absolutely purchase these again.

Updating my initial review. Still a five star review. My knees are still happy and pain free after 7 months of use and the sleeves have held up. Squat is up to 450 for sets of 5 and 425 for sets of 8. deadlifts are near 500lbs. Very happy. highly recommend.Use these for squats. Post 30 and decided I wanted to have muscles again but not sore knees. These make the difference. Went back heavy again (315 for 2 sets and 405 for last set of 8 reps)and these take the pressure off of my knees. Kept them warm throughout movement. Also use them for deadlifts. Your knees will be sweaty and hot but that is the point. Never had knee problems but realized that after squatting on heavy days my knees would be a little sore for the rest of the day. %100 soreness free today. (same after DL) Bought these hoping but not expecting anything. But I am happy. Rinsed them off and let them air dry. With the amount of sweat generated I would advise rinsing these ASAP and not throwing them in your gym bag or trunk. If you are buying these you are probably already familiar with the funk that can occur from sweaty gear. And yes they are a little tough to get on and off. I am 6'5 225 and I have the medium. They are tough to get on and off but are pretty comfortable while on and working out. Only removed after last set of squat and DL. So much better than having to wrap between every set.

I started using these to squat and loved them at first. I'm 5'9" and 190lbs and the mediums fit like a glove. A little hard to put on at first, but after a couple of weeks I got the hang of it. Keeps the knees warm for sure. So warm, that after my workouts my socks and shoes would be soaked with sweat. In my opinion, they do able you to squat more weight than without them. I haven't maxed out to see, but I would guess no more than 10 lbs. The reason why I couldn't max out because after no more than 2 months of use 3x's a week the rubber on one of the sleeves rippped at the seam from the top down about 2.5 inches. Still able to use them, but the ripped one slips down the leg more often and is a great deal looser than the other. I would give them 5 stars but can't see myself buying a new pair every 2 months. Rehbands are up next.

Recently, I returned to weightlifting after about four years off. When I competed previously, I weighed about 115 kg and I wore a pair of the largest Rehband knee sleeves. During my time off I seem to have lost them (and roughly 20 kg) so I was looking for a new pair. My new coach recommended these and they were cheaper so I went for it. They keep my knees very warm through my entire workout and they provide solid support in the bottom position.*They recommend the medium for athletes up to 250 lbs but I don't think this is very accurate given the type of athlete who will likely purchase them. This may be fine for the average athlete but if you're a weightlifter and over 200 lbs I recommend the large. The medium fits me well enough but if my legs get any bigger I will likely buy a large.**The instructions say to rinse the sleeves with tepid (warm) water after usage. I HIGHLY recommend adhering to this. With my old knee sleeves, I would only wash them every couple of weeks and leave them in my gym bag otherwise. After, three years of this, everything in my bag smelled awful. However, after a month of using the TK sleeves and rinsing them after each workout, there is no odor. Just remember to rinse them, let them air dry, and give them a little soap every month or so.

These seem to be perfectly nice knee sleeves/bands. They appear very supportive and very sturdy, much better than some sleeves I've used. The catch, of course, is that I have no idea if the sleeves are as good as they appear, because there is no way on God's green earth that they'll ever get on to my knees. The sizing recommendations on the site are ridiculous. "Up to 250 lbs., buy size M." OK. I'm 235...so I bought the M. Now I have a nice pair of calf sleeves that will never, ever go any further up my leg than the lower end of my calves (no matter how many of the "tricks" included in the packaging I try). Too bad.Back they go. And back to the drawing board I go.
