Worked perfectly for my B500 Coolpix!I've been having trouble with the batteries on my camera, neither regular nor rechargable batteries seem to work in it anymore, but this solved the problem.Either plugging it into a phone charger outlet block, or a PC USB port, or into a portable phone battery pack, seems to work great.I'd definitely recommend getting a good quality rechargable USB battery pack so you can use it for a long time, and bring a spare too. I'm always nervous it'll die on me halfway through a video!
