I ended up returning mine due to a defective. One of the veils wouldn't open. In the picture, the one on the left opens all the way. The one on the right opens about half way because there was not enough material between the wooden pieces to allow it to open.If you happen to get two fans that open, these would be good to play with or to practice with. The red is more of an orange red than a true red. I wouldn't use these for a stage performance.

Got a splinter just by opening packaging.0 quality looks terrible and cheaply made.Material is the trash. Do not buy this!
