The product description says the lines were braided. Well they are just cheap non-braided rubber. Decided to try it anyway. First time I primed the line it worked but after that the squeeze bulb didn’t have enough rebound strength to overcome the check valve!! Took it off and threw it in the trash. You get what you pay for.

Nice pliable rubber not plastic hose. It's harder to find good rubber boat fuel hoses lately. This is like the old materials I prefer. The bulb squeezes smoothly and appears to be of good construction - has metal coils and a clamp on each end to keep it together.Removed one star because of dumb packaging that kinked the hose right after the bulb. That is a kink that may be hard to remove and if it doesn't go away it could cause your fuel pump to have to work harder to draw gas....not ideal.

This worked with my late 80s Johnson 60HP outboard. It should be compatible with any 70HP and under outboard for Johnson, you'll just need the manufacturer-specific adapter for the fitting end. This is a little better than just a standard priming assembly because it'll need less squeezes to prime with the check valve. Unidirectional assembly will also reduce moisture-spoiling of the fuel.

The bulb would go flat whenever I went faster than an idle.

It's tha cheaper price out of all of them. And there is a reason for that. Don't buy this. Buy an attwood.

The check valve in the ball failed during the first use and caused the siphon to stop functioning.
