I was able to use this for a project and was happy with the results I was able to achieve. I would suggest reading the instructions carefully as well as watching a dew youtube videos to gain a good understanding of how to use it. Practice makesperfect.

Lots of PROs to this unit. The nifty cast iron pan sits in a metal well that is packed with ceramic foam allowing all sides of the pan to be able to melt metal, not just the bottom, making this unit superior in that regard. It is also safe for countertops. The only drawback, do not use for more than 20 mins continuously! I have two units for that reason. Excellent for making bismuth crystals. Unlike other products you can more or less easily tap out the bottom of the pan to release the hardened metal.

This is an electric lead melting pot for melting down lead. Apparently this is good for fishing sinker molds. However, I use it for melting down lead for casings for ammunition reloading. It heats up surprisingly fast. I was actually surprised because the last melting pot i had took forever. I also really like the fact that the pot separates from the base and it just makes it so much easier and frankly safer than versions where they don't separate.

Product is as described, note that it comes with an American plug so its another one I'm going to have to change to Australian. Note that it only recommends 20 mins of usage at a time
