I would say that 6 or 7 would be the cutoff age for this hat. I got it for my almost 8 year old and it fits her well enough. She says she has to pull it down a it for it to completely close off the air to her ears, but it still is covering her ears well. Pulling it down where she wants it on her ears makes it go over her eyes though. It's warm even thought the fleece inside is pretty thin. She likes it and it keeps her warm, but I would want a thicker warmer one if we were going to be outside on a 30 degree day for a time.

This kids hat has been perfect for the cold weather. The quality is good, it's soft, the ear flaps helps keep your ears warm and its very cute! The bright pink color stands out so my little one doesn't lose this hat.

Love the hat, exactly what I wanted but it is a little too big for a 3-4 yr old. It comes down too far over the eyes and she can't see.

This hat is cute, I like the ear covers, however it runs a bit small and the ear part of the hat doesn't land on the right part of my daughter's head. Other than that the hat is decent quality, not the greatest but it does the job. It is soft and the color is true to the pictures.

It is soft yet keeps her head and ears warm.It does not chafe or irritate her skin or feel binding on her head.She likes making the pom pom bob and bounce.For a child with sensory issues, this head piece is getting a good workout so far this winter.I definitely recommend this beanie pom hat for your little one.

This is a perfect warm hat for kids 8 or older. It is a large size, so I would not recommend it for toddlers as advertised, but perfect for older kids. Very warm and cozy in the winter or cold weather, and adorable with the pom pom on the top.
