My young daughter has so much fun with this set! It's easy and lightweight enough for her to put together on her own and customize it her her liking with the variety of pieces and different ways to use them. All 3 of my kids think it is the greatest addition to the classic " The Floor is Lava" game .This set is great for encouraging gross motor skills and independent play, plus use it during the rainy weather days for tons of indoor fun and let the kids play! I love that If we get another set it makes a great balance set even better with better play and build options. We don't have carpeted floors so we use it on large area rugs and play room mat floors under it.I plan on having a small wooden box built similar to the shipping box size that the set comes in, pop some wheels on the bottom and bam... easy storage that slides under shelving or a bed! I do plan on putting some anti slip stickers on the bottoms of some pieces just for safety but over all I am very happy with this set.A quick amazon search shows the price is very fair too and right in line with similar items on the market, this one even being on the low end for price. I'd recommend this set to family and friends any day!

Wooden Balance Beam and Stepping Stones for KidsPros:- Great toy for kids to improve their balance and hopping ability.- Great kit to have for a pediatric physical therapy clinic. Children can work on their proprioceptive and sensory skills.- The stepping stones have a foam padding on the bottom to improve friction. This helps prevent the child from falling.- The boards have shapes on top of them or you can turn them over to the flat side.- The food seems strong enough to hold a 50 lbs child comfortably, but I won’t be too confident if an adult stand on it repeatedly. I would recommend the child to jump on the beam because it may break. Use the stepping stone for jumping and hopping instead.- The package also include two circular begs in case you only want to use one beam.Cons:- There is no carrying case. I recommend keeping the packaging box to store the parts.- The balance beams are only two feet long which is quit short in real life. I assume they kept it short because increasing the length of the board may increase the chance of it breaking in the middle if there is a lot of load.- The pegs should come with anti-slip pads too.Conclusion:- The obstacle course is very usable, but I would make a few modifications for safety.

My three year old granddaughter will be starting gymnastics soon and I thought this would be a great way to help her with balancing before she gets on a low beam. She was thrilled with this set and wanted to set it up on her own! It's very well made and quite sturdy. I've set it up as part of an obstacle course, as well. Each piece has a smooth side and a side with colorful raised components. There are several connector pieces that make building it a breeze. It's versatile in as much as it can be placed in a long line or connected in a ring. You can also alternate them with a smooth side then a raised side and so on. It's been a hit with my granddaughter and I'm so pleased with my purchase!

This has been a fun addition to our obstacle course set up. It's also fun on it's own. The pieces are lightweight enough for my 4 year old to set it up herself, and I love that it comes apart for easy storage. Great for balance and getting wiggles out, especially during dark cold winter months. When added to our pickler triangle or play couch, my daughter can easily play for hours on her own.Since the beam is off the ground when set up, you can do either the bumpy side or the flat side.Highly recommend to help develop balance and to help keep kids active when the weather outside isn't great. This is really easy to put together, you just line up the holes in the board to the connector. It is suggested in the instructions to use on carpet incase of falls, I set the beam up on the carpet and the stones on the wood floor. It it pretty long when set up straight or it can be set up in a loop. It also seems like it's be easy to combine with multiple sets if you want a really large one. This one is perfect though for the space we have.

These are a lot of fun! However, when we unboxed them, we noticed that several wooden pegs were loose and falling out. We used wood glue to secure them, and now everything works great! Some pieces have knobs and blocks that are uncomfortable to step on—kind of like walking on Legos—so we flip those over. They’re easy to use and enjoyable for both little and big kids, though older kids tend to lay them flat on the floor to avoid adding too much weight. The pieces are durable and seem to be quality wood.

Omg my kids love these. They like to play pirates and make each other walk the plank. There are so many ways to set it up and they are easily distracted with this for up to 30 minutes easy.
