This product solves two common problems. One is the ease of tightening down the toilet. I was having some problems getting the toilet to set properly on a Korky wax-free seal. Basically, I sat on it to compress the foam seals, and it works perfectly with only hand tightening. The other problem is one that most of us have experienced. I hate it when I'm mopping the bathroom floor or cleaning the toilet, and the bolt cap comes off and rolls across the floor. This "nut" is basically one piece, so there's nothing to separate. I admit I was suspicious of the fact that it is all plastic, but it seems quite durable. I will get these again, since I have to replace my other toilet. I will also buy another Korky 6000BP seal—I never seem to have much luck with wax seals, plus they can be very messy.

Works quite well and very easy to install. Be careful not to over-tighten as the bolts will turn and pop loose from the flange. This would be the only fault and perhaps future versions should include a screw-on washer that can hold the bolt more firmly in place (preventing the bolt from turning while tightening the cap). No tools required. No metal parts means no rust.

Awful awful awful. Please do not buy. My son attempted to install and was unable to do so. We ended up having his truck towed to have professionally install. We were informed that there was no way this item could be install properly without buying additional items and using speciality equipment. It ended up costing us $1000 for towing and returning the truck to the way it was before attempting to install the lift kit. So, we are out the cost of the kit plus the needed repairs to fix it after attempting to install the kit.

I was raving to my son about how great these were when one of the bolts snapped off under what felt like normal load. The other side worked great. We did have to install and reinstall the toilet 3 times because of unrelated things (like a defective wax ring) but even still, it felt like one of the bolts was too weak.

This bolt and cap combo was easy to use, no tools required, fit snugly to floor ring and stayed in place while positioning the toilet. Pricey, but will use again.

I remove and re-install toilets in the course of my job and these are the greatest way to fasten a toilet. Quick and easy. Worked so well,I ordered three more sets . I will be ordering more I'm sure.
