I just recently started using this item so I cannot yet speak to it's durability however it is currently working pretty well. I used to have a toilet light from Walmart (Feist brand) so I'll compare this one to that. This light has great motion detection and brightness (a little brighter than the Feist brand). One thing I notice is that it doesn't turn off in the daytime as easily as my former light. My toilet is in a somewhat shaded area in the bathroom and it isn't always bright enough for the light to not activate during the day. That's not really a pro/con but just an observation. What I really like compared to my former light is that this one stays in place on the toilet rim sooo much better. I have not had to fidget with it once so far. I will have to wait and see how long this lasts as well as battery life but it's also only $8 for a 2 pack so, as of now I can certainly recommend.Update: My two pack lasted from May 22 until then end of November so they are good for a few months a piece. During the time they work, they work great but eventually the led light fails. I'd like longer durability but for only $7 it's still a good purchase. I just bought another 2 pack.

I saw a protege of one of these on shark tank. The TV show. I couldn't believe that a shark didn't pick this item up as an investment. I have boughtMyself one of these. I absolutely love it! Motion censored you pick the color. Find your way to the toilet without turning on overhead lights. It turns itself off automatically. They're easy to clean. Lightweight, I have given many of these out to my elderly parents and friends and family. They love them. Also helps with toilet training. Kids love to have the light come on in the bowl. Potty training was easy for my granddaughter. They're inexpensive and they last a very long time worth the money. I got a two pack for under $11

I appreciate this item helping me find the toilet without having to blind myself with overhead lights. However, this is my 4th or 5th set and they typically only work for about 6 months. They don't seem to like it when I change batteries or they've just died altogether.

These lights are great. They give just enough light at night so you dont have to turn on the bathroom light. Battery powered, and they last for quite a long time. The sensor is very sensitive which is a plus. My daughter loves that she can change the color.

I have purchased these over the years* usually one of the other brands )and went with these since they look very similar and were less expensive. In my experience with all the ones I have purchased they tend to last around 18 months give or take which is fine given they don't cost very much. My only issue with these is that the light sensor for turning the lights off when the bathroom light is on doesn't seem to work very well or at least as well as some of the others I have had. If I shine a light directly on them they will go off but when the overhead light in the room is on it doesn't or at least not all the time.. not really sure why it works some times and not others. Both of them work the same so its not just a problem for one. I assume if the lighting was brighter they would go off or if I face the unit directly toward the overhead light it works but when hanging on side of bowl in normal position it just doesn't seem to get enough of the light to turn off. I mean its not a huge problem but naturally if its on all the time when in the bathroom the battery life will be much shorter. Not sure if others have had the same issue but its the reason I did not give a 5 star rating...TBH next time I will go back to the ones I usually get which were like $5 more for a pair.

My 6yr old granddaughters absolutely love it!! The two microphones were perfect so there was no fights! The lights on the machine the girls just love and they sing away!! Just the perfect size too for them. I went and bought another for my great nieces at Christmas!

Bought two for both bathrooms. They work great. Once the bathroom door is open, the motion sensor is activated and the toilet lights up. I like the colour ranges. I think it would be better if the light guide was longer to fit over the bowl. It sometimes falls off. It is cool. Don't need to turn the bathroom light on for those trips in the middle of the night. Would recommend.

This is easy to install and adds a light glow when toilet lid is closed, but add just enough light when using the bathroom at night thay you aren’t blinded but can see what you need to do in there. It’s motion activated so no searching for buttons. Good price and a variety of coloured lights.

We've been running these on toilets for the better part of a decade, and as they get older and beat up we replace them. We moved a few months ago and got brand new ones, but we noticed that instead of 2 to 3 months of operation off a set of batteries, we were getting more like 3 weeks. It takes three aaa's instead of two double a's, which is the main difference between this and our previous ones. I've since moved it to the rear wall side of the toilet so that it only gets triggered when we sit down and wave a hand in front, and hopefully that will extend the battery life. Other than that, good quality and very bright.
