I use these stripping the frames of vintage cars. These discs are great for that!

These work really well, especially when you factor in that they cost a little over a dollar each which is a good value for the quality. I haven't had to change out the first one yet so it seems to last a decent amount of time. They are pretty aggressive and remove material with ease.

Can't really comment on how long they'll last, but they seem durable, and they do a good enough job taking mill scale off metal stock. And for the price, it's hard to go wrong. Even the cheapest zirconia flap discs you can get at the super discount freight store cost $5 each. These come out to about $1.50 each, and they work great. Definitely a bargain!

I purchased this 24-pack of 4 1/2" 40-grit zirconia flap discs for my angle grinder, and they have been fantastic for grinding and finishing work. The zirconia material holds up well against stainless steel, sheet metal, and even cast iron. The Type 29 design provides a great grinding angle, making it easy to smooth out rough surfaces with minimal effort. They last longer than standard aluminum oxide discs, and I appreciate the consistent performance across multiple projects. If you're looking for durable, high-quality flap discs for metalwork, these are a great choice. Excellent value for the quantity and performance!

Unless you can move at warp speed, do not use these on wood, well, unless you are seriously trying to distress it.At 40 Grit, these work really well to remove rust and mill scale from structural steel and heavy plate. They can be a little difficult to get into the corners of an I-beam.You can use them to strip paint provided you are going back with a high build primer that will cover the abrasion grooves.

These MAY not be as good as the super expensive name brand discs I've been using but I really can't tell. You'd have to do a side by side comparison using them both for the same exact thing to be sure but I use a coupe of these as soon as I got them and I feel like they lasted just as long as the name brand ones. That along with the AMAZING price means I'll be ordering these again if I ever actually run out.

These discs are very smooth running. No vibration. Quick material removal. Durability seems good. Would get these again when needed.

A good price for what appear to be a somewhat higher grade flap disc, similar to some of the premium brands that you might fond in welding supply stores
