Could be threadfile for internal threads on the end, missed those. But ok product.

There are many times when threads get damaged on important bolts or machine parts and it's not like you can just run to the store to buy a replacement. I bought this when I didn't immediately need it, knowing that sooner or later, I could come in handy. Sure enough, just two weeks later, I had a bolt with the threads on the end damaged so that I couldn't put a nut on. This thread file set helped me totally restore the end threads so the nuts can thread smoothly. This is so much better than simply filing off the entire end to get to a better section where the nuts can catch.

These are very high quality high-carbon hard steel cutting tools. If kept clean, dry, and protected they will last for years. However, tool steel is brittle, and it rusts easily. The three tools were together in a single bag where they would bang together whenever UPS threw the package from truck to truck. Also, the bag was unsealed, and it was shipped in a paper/cardboard bag. None of them seemed damaged when I received them, but two of the three tools were already rusted when I opened the package. Strongly recommend that the manufacturer package each one individually, and seal them against rust.

Had a bolt that I screwed up the threads on, and saw these on an episode of ZK Mastertech, and John Deere Tech, who fixed a bolt he had screwed the threads up on tune them up with these special files. They worked for me just like they did for him. A win.
