No more gauze sponges or wrong "complimentary" sponges that you have to cut with scissors, (thankyou Coram), no more tape residue to deal with, and they're comfortable to use. No sign of leakage through to my shirt either. Haven't washed them yet so I guess that's the real test for longevity and quality, but very pleased with them so far. Shipping was quick, no problems. Update: just ordered a second batch, blue ones this time so I can know which ones are the older ones. They hold up great in the washing machine. Pre-soak with woolite and oxiclean laundry bleach first for about 30 mins in a lingerie bag, than wash them in with a regular clothes wash. Pretty much come out looking and feeling like new. I don't use a fabric softener as that interferes with the absorbency.. well happy, so much better than gauze and tape, no more scrubbing off tape grunge in the shower.

We use these around my husband's GJ-tube insertion site for absorption of drainage etc. They are great! The snaps hold well but are easy to open. The fabric is super soft and comfortable on the skin. (Way more comfortable than gauze!) I would recommend laundering these before use as they are much softer and absorbent after washing because they come in a vacuum sealed bag that really squishes them. I run them in my washing machine and then lay them on a flat surface to air dry. They dry very quickly, less than 2 hours.When I change them, I put the used ones in a container with water and a few drops of bleach to soak them before washing. That keeps them from getting too funky until I have enough of them to run a load of them.

These really cushion the area where the feeding tube enters the stomach. They absorb drainage. Great that they are washable and reusable

The snaps on them are nice. They work a lot better than the gauze pads with slits in them.

I love these to use on my son's g-tube. They really help with the leaking he gets. The only thing we don't like is the snap. It's bulky, weights the cover down in an odd way, and is extremely hard to unsnap. I won't even try to unsnap it to get it off his button, I will just maneuver it off because I'm afraid if I try to unsnap, I will end up pulling on this g-tube. I wish they came with a Velcro closure option, I would get those in a heartbeat! PLEASE MAKE A VELCRO CLOSURE OPTION!

I don't know where I'd be without these. It helps to keep my site clean & less red. The split guaze my homecare agency gave me are too thin & come off easily which allowed my stoma hole to get red & leak gren goo. These fit perfectly around my j tube opening & I love they can be washed & reused which is better than adding more waste with guaze. If your barrier cream is colored - I use calmoseptine which is pink - they'll never be white again but as long as they're washed it doesn't matter. Some lay flat like I want them too but a lot curl up, which is annoying.

I have had a feeding tube for many years and have used split gauze pads, I was constantly fighting redness and soreness around my tube. I came upon this product by accident and decided to give it a try, The side that goes next to the skin, is super soft and wicks away the stomach acid away from the skin. My skin us doing much better. When soiled, i put them in a small mesh laundry bag and wash them with my whites. I definitely recommend these! I will definitely be buying again soon. Wish I would have found these many years ago.

I have bought this product twice to use around my daughter’s cecostomy tube in her colon. The first time I purchased these g-tube holder pads, they were thicker and very absorbent. However, with this most recent purchase, the pads are about 50% thinner and therefore not as absorbent. It is a shame because they really worked well - soft and non-irritating on the skin; easy to wash, and absorbing leakage around her cecostomy.
