I am in my 70's, 5'3", 100 lbs. My doctor recommended a weighted vest to me for my hips to hopefully improve my bone density. I was overwhelmed when I started looking at them, comparing features, weight, pricing, etc. and decided that I would start with 8 lbs and a reasonably priced option. I am so happy I did. I wear it every day on my WalkingPad. I find the vest very comfortable, it adjusts so well with the side straps, even on someone as small as I am, there is no movement, barely realize I am wearing it after almost 1 month. I have had issues with my lower back/neck through the years but this has not triggered any issues for me. As far as some people saying they were bothered by a chemical smell, I have not found that to be the case at all. I won't know if I am achieving my goal for my bone density for a while but I am doing something to try that also enhances my overall workout and fitness.

I bought the 8 lbs vest about a month ago and it adds the perfect amount of extra weight and resistance for my walks. I have issues with my SI joint and hip and I can feel this helping to strengthen my hips. It also helps with posture while walking.

It's going to take me a bit of time to get used to wearing this weighted vest since this is my first time with one. The weight distribution feels balanced and I love that the straps are adjustable. It is very comfortable to wear, not digging in anywhere or slipping/shifting while I walk.An excellent and easy way to add resistance to my workout routines.Well made, great construction and design, highly recommended!

Like anyone who wants to lose weight and see results as quick as possible I was searching for something to get the most calorie burning effect to my walking routine. This worked out perfectly. First time using it today and it's comfortable and a solid fit. I did not feel overwhelmed with my walk but got a really good sweat using this! I wear this over my neoprene zip up workout top. My waste trainer and my sauna shorts! I better see some results. I'm 53 and seeing some added lbs. I love that weighted vests are recommended to work out your core as this is exactly where I am trying to lose weight.Highly recommend and great price compared to others.

Bought this for my wife and she wears it every day when we are walking. It is well made, balanced and has had a beneficial effect for her.The improvement came almost immediately. Would definitely recommend.

I just got this vest and am loving it. I hesitated to buy the 12 pounds one but the weight is evenly distributed and feels really good. It feels like a weighted blanket giving comfort to my back. I use it while doing housework and it helps my posture which is decreasing my back pain. I did go on a walk with it and it felt good. I did get more tired so I plan on limiting the time of my walks until I build up strength and endurance.

This product works great! I incorporated it into my walks, and it has really helped improve my posture while also boosting calorie burn. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because one of the buckles broke after just a few uses. Unfortunately, it's not really functional with only one buckle, as the vest keeps hanging off the body. Rather than throwing it away or buying a new one, I’ve been using a pin to fasten it each time I wear it. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it still serves its purpose.

Was recommended for walking to help with hip health. It has a nice fit, pretty comfortable and doesn’t look bad at all! I go for hour long walks and I feel light as a feather when I’m just moving around at work now.
