I have used something to wear around my neck to hold my glasses for several, as I only need them for up close reading. I have had many different designs. They did not work well or last very long, because the elastic loop that goes onto the temples would break easy. On a few, I really liked the design, but they were not smooth enough and made scratch type marks on my tops, depending on the material.These are an exception all the way around! The elastic loops are stronger than any I have had before and they even provide an extra pair should one ever break or wear out. The stones are attractive, light weight and smooth. They seem to go with whatever I am wearing. I have purchased these 3 times; 1 pair I use and 1 back up and the others were gifts to friends that don't need to wear their glasses all the time.

These are pretty cool, but they are a bit bulky. I do love the use of the beads. Now I don’t waste time looking for my glasses when they’re on my head because they’re not on my head. They are hanging in front of me.

As a previous reviewer wrote, these are really lovely; not heavy at all but substantial enough so that the beading doesn't hang in an awkward way. They also provide extra bands for the ends for each set. I recently had cataract surgery so I don't need to wear prescription glasses all day but I do occasionally need readers and these are excellent for that. I had no problem putting them on either my readers or my sunglasses. I have RayBans, so the ends of the ear wires are a little larger than on my readers and they fit fine over both types. I can't believe these were such a great price because they don't look cheap in any way. Very happy with my purchase!

I had been looking for a decent eyeglass holder in the stores but couldn't find anything I liked. I ended up looking on Amazon & found this beautiful one. There were other nice ones as well but the cost of this one prevailed. Plus I got two of them in the package. They also come with extra loops which is great. My last eyeglass holder got stretched out & wouldn't hold my glasses anymore.

Very pretty. They are my favorite! I really like them because:1) Unlike other fashion eyeglass straps, these beads have not tarnished. (I bought a set of silver and gold fashion straps, but the metal tarnishes and smells bad when it does.)2) The color palate of the beads (small black beads with the seashell in very pretty iridescent tones (low key/muted purple, green, gold) and the work really well with my glasses which have black and gold frames.3) Also, these eye glass bead chains have replacement parts for the connectors with easy on/easy off clasp. I'm VERY happy with the look and designs.First photo is indoors, second is outdoors in sunlight to better show the iridescence in the larger beads. Very pretty.
