UPDATE ON 11/28/2024: Well, this thing brought me happiness for a few months. Unfortunately, the balls started failing one by one over the last month until there were only two still functioning as of early this morning. I took the mobile down and brought it inside to inspect it. Tons of rust around where the strings are attached to the round piece. While the mobile stood up well to many thunderstorms and two hurricanes, I guess the unit isn't durable enough to withstand long-term humidity and being soaked with dew at night. RIP.So far so good. I've had this for just about 24 hours.I was thrilled that it arrived fully charged, even though the instructions said to fully charge it before use. It passed the initial closet test and then worked outside from 9:00ish p.m. last night until it got light out at 6:00 this morning (EDT). I've got it on the easternmost side of my front porch where it gets exposed to sun almost all day long.It has already survived two Florida thunderstorms, one last night that was really windy. Though my flag was getting whipped around, the mobile stayed fairly stationary and never got tangled up or anything.I love the changing colors! I was not able to get a decent video on my phone.I will update my review if anything changes.NOTE: I did not use the hook/clip combo that came with it. Instead, I used a spare key ring that I had that I could more easily loop around both the big ring at the top of the mobile and fit nicely into the narrow opening of the screw eye hook that was already mounted on my porch.

Not much for wind chimes as the dangle construction is plastic. No pretty sounds or tinkles to enjoy but because it is solar the butterflies and hummingbird figures light up and swing in a breeze so it is pretty and has multiple color lights as well. This could be used in so many inside rooms bathrooms, children’s spaces or outdoor on patio and hanging from bushes or tree limbs. It does need sunlight to recharge the solar battery. It comes with a separate hook for easy hanging.

I bought this mobile for my daughter because she loved the one given to me by a friend for my birthday this July. By the first of September, both had dimmed to almost no light at all, now are just clear plastic shapes, night and day. VERY disappointing ! Would love to know if there is a similar product that retains its solar power for a whileUpdate: I have added stars to my original review. The customer service response is worth 5 stars; they reached out with apologies and offered a refund or replacement. I chose replacement because it was magical at first and i want to see it again. Still don’t know how long this will last . If it’s longer than 2 months I’ll give it 5 stars. -fingers crossed and thanks to the company!

The mobile/chimes are very pretty, but they are made of a lightweight plastic. I like them, but when they arrived, one of the butterfly wings was broken off. I think it happened because of 1) the fragility of the product 2) the individual packing of the product and 3) how the product was placed with a heavier weight item in the box, how it was packed, and the chimes box was likely hit as it was being shuffled around in the truck waiting for delivery. I'm keeping them because this is the 2rd product I've received through Amazon that is broken, and returns are a pain. The chimes are still useable, but I'm disappointed. The other product is not usable and it's glass - so dangerous. I feel more care and thought needs to go into how products are packed.

Lovely butterfly windchimes. Beautiful colours, true to the description. Bought as a gift for my Daughter & she absolutely loves them.I am updating my review, although my Daughter initially liked these butterflies, she finds they are not lighting up as they should. The butterflies are not lighting up only a small part in the middle of each butterfly lights up. Not sure if this is the way it should be or not, or if it's a flawIn this set. I am returning them & will try a different one.

The light looks good but works only for 2-3 hours, whereas my other solar-powered lights work 8-10 hours. Looks like the battery is not sufficient or the solar capacity is low.

Update: July 9, 2021: I have posted the return, but the post office did not scan it for some reason for tracking purposes.UPDATE June 30. After this review, customer service reached out to me to replace this item for me. As stated in my review, when these lights work, they are beautiful. The light is so soft and beautiful and hung my bedroom they set a tone of peace and relaxation.I am grateful for the company reaching out to me to help fix this flaw, and I'm really looking forward to the replacement.Original review: They worked two nights, then stopped. So I replaced the battery, worked one night for a couple of hours then stopped. soooooooo disappointed as they looked beautiful when working. It must be some flaw in the recharging.UPDATED: I HAVE RETURNED THIS ITEM, BUT FOR SOME REASON, THE POST OFFICE IS NOT TRACKING IT, AND I CAN'T FIND A WAY TO CONTACT THE SELLER.

Love how these look at night. I noticed, much later after dark, they don't stay lit all night. But I expect that is all dependent on how much sun they get. Even after they fell in some snow(before I noticed), and got rain on them, they still work well
