Multi-purpose snip. Very sharp. I like the long cut. Will cut single sheets of paper, at least when new. This snip seems comparable to name brands like Stanley, Craftsman, and Crescent. I haven't used the snip long, so cannot say how it will hold up to cutting 26 and 29 gauge steel roofing material, when the need inevitably comes. It worked great for cutting woody plants up to about 3/8 inch across, while cleaning out a fence line, was better than loppers. It's also excellent for opening tough, stubborn, plastic blister packs.

I purchased these to cut tin ceiling tiles for a backsplash. They made the job very easy. They cut through the tin like scissors. They do not cut through the thicker separate border/edge pieces. I used a hacksaw for that. Sturdy well made product worth the purchase.

I took a chance on this brand because of the versatility and value of a kit like this. I've used several brands of snips, these preform just as well as your common leading brands. The handles are sturdy and ergonomic, the closure lock works well, and the cuts are smooth and straight. Really like having all the options in one included bag. The shorter and longer straight snips fit their respective uses well, the longer snips still have plenty of power near end of the snip at the tip of the blades. Nice set. Five stars.

A great deal with 4 different Tin-Snips included. The blades on each snip have a smooth blade and a serrated blade. I learned which Snip to use so the finished edge was nice a smooth. They worked very well although one of them would stick a bit. I oiled it at the hinge and cycled it a few times and all good. There is also an adjustment nut if necessary to make them move freely. I haven't used them more than one day but am quite pleased with the quality and the price. At this point, I would recommend these.

Not what I expected in 'tin snips' but screening and no metal, I mean even thin aluminum metal. Very disappointed. Sturdy quality, not can't cut... i mean "snip".

Used them to cut stainless steel sheet, and they worked perfectly. Didnt required a lot of force and it gave a clean, straight cut. Very pleased with this product

Have been using these quite a bit to cut through steel studs during demo work, and they cut easy and smoothly. How long they'll be good I don't yet know, but for now I'm content. If they last awhile, I'll get more, if not, I'll just pay a little extra for some Milwaukee next time.

The positive grip control made for easy alignment to maintain a clean straight cut.The product I was cutting was 28 gauge sheet steel.
