Although it it is smaller than other ptex sticks out there it definitely does the job and does it well. If you know what you're doing you can minimize the oxidation and inturn you will have less black particles when using the clear sticks. For me if I'm less worried about what my base looks like and more how it performs.

These worked great! As other reviewer's noted, they are about 1/2 the diameter of "normal" Ptex sticks, but they burned clean and hot. Fixed my scoured ski bases nicely, and the repairs scraped clean too. Good product.

These re skinner than ones I have used in the past but they did the job great!

Glad I ordered this product. A quick internet search taught me how to make a repair and I was able to fix a gouge in no time. Take caution though. It burns hot

Ptex is good .Black is harder and more durable . Clear looks good but try to keep flame blue because yellow flame will cause carbon residue in repair. Black is just black and easier to control flow.

Product filled the nicks and cuts in my skis. It seems to have bonded well to the other plastic. Hopefully it will hold up when I go skiing in December. I'm 6' 3" tall at about 250 Lbs. so I'll put it to the test for sure. Hopefully I remember to update the review. I'm sure if it fails, you'll know about it. If it works, probably won't hear anymore from me. More expensive than it should be for some HDPE sticks, but material prices were crazy after Covid and these were some of the most reasonably priced ones at the time.

The sticks are thinner than others I've used so they burn through faster but they also stay lit better.

Worked well for the scratches on my board. Sticks were longer and thinner than other ptex sticks I've used, but that made it pretty easy to light and keep burning clean / manage the carbon build-up.

Bought this PTEX sticks to use it for scratch repairs on bottom of kayak hull. Works very well.
