Cake holder was exactly what I expected - it held my 9" two-layer cake effectively, and I was even able to use it as a base for decorating by putting parchment paper under the cake edges and pulling it out after. I do wish it were slightly easier to lock, but they provided a helpful instruction sheet that indicated the best way to re-lock the latches. I was able to hold it via the handles and it felt sturdy and secure, though I did carry it carefully and obviously didn't swing the cake around.

Pros: travels well with a cake in it, displays cake well, nice top handles.Cons: clasps that keep the lid on are not too strong and are hard to clean.To be fair, I transported a chocoflan which is caramel messy, but overall, good carrier.

After first use my wife and I asked ourselves how we survived all of these years without a cake carrier. The Top Shelf Elements Cake Carrier has generous dimensions to fit a 9" bunt cake with ease. Straightforward to use, fully assembled out of the box and great handles for carrying. Recommended!

In 2019 prior to Christmas I ended up buying three of these. The first arrived with a huge hole busted in the lid so I returned it and ordered another one. The second one arrived with one of the clasps detached but I was able to put it back on without any issues. It clasped fine on both sides. I make two cakes for Christmas so I ordered a third one and it arrived in perfect condition but unfortunately I dropped the cake holder (without cake in it) and I busted a big hole in he lid. I threw the busted one away eventually so I decided to order another one this year and it arrived with a long crack in the top of the lid. I did not take a picture but there are other buyers who posted pictures of theirs arriving cracked as well and mine was quite similar. I did appreciate the extra handles that were sent but I sent it back and went to Walmart and found a better cake carrier for less money. The one I bought from Walmart is a Better Home And Gardens brand. It looks like it may hold up to a three layer cake. It also can be used as a cupcake carrier as well. The plastic lid is a clear and is a heavier plastic. It also has four clasps to hold the lid in place and the handle in the lid is very secure. The Better Home and Gardens cake carrier from Walmart is better quality compared to this cake carrier. Unfortunately I was disappointed in my repeat purchase of this one this year. Too much hassle going back and forth ordering, shipping back and reordering. I’d go to Walmart and see if you can find their Better Home and Gardens cake carrier.

Buen diseño y sella bien, el problema del bloqueo es que si lo tienes en una superficie plana levanta toda toda la charola pudiendo ocasionar la caÃda de lo que tengas almacenado

I have been through loads of cake holders but this one is very sturdy, and a good size. Very good buy. Would buy again.
