I recently purchased a soccer goalie shirt for my son, and overall, it’s been a good value for the price. When we first saw it, the padding placement on the forearms seemed a bit unusual, as we expected more coverage around the elbows. However, after his first game wearing it, my son actually appreciated the forearm padding. It offered good protection during dives and blocks, though he did mention it would be even better if the shirt had additional padding in other areas.The fit was great, which is always a relief when buying sports gear online. The fabric seems comfortable and allows enough flexibility for his movements in the goal. He hasn’t complained about any discomfort, and it seems to hold up well during games.One minor drawback is the stitching quality. While it’s not the most durable, given the price compared to other goalie shirts, I wasn’t expecting top-of-the-line craftsmanship. The stitching may not last as long with heavy use, but for the cost, it’s hard to complain too much. It’s a budget-friendly option, and if your child is growing quickly or just starting out, this shirt is a good way to get the necessary protection without overspending.Overall, this goalie shirt is a solid choice for young players who want decent padding and comfort without breaking the bank. I’d recommend it for kids or beginners who need the essentials but don’t necessarily need the highest-end quality. Quality was fine for the price. However, as a mom buying for her teen son, I should have paid more attention to detail. The padding is NOT elbow pads, but rather forearm pads. Pictures do clearly show this. It’s odd location and slightly tight fit made it not work for us.
