"Objects in mirror are closer than they appear"Well, it's clearer from the inside than the outside looking in.Honestly u can't tell there's a difference in shade from the inside...still feels like a clear viewfinder...slightly tinted...however from the outside, Noone will know its you in that helmet and that was my sole purpose..... btw 4u night riders... IT'S NOT DARK AT ALL....I purposely kept lifting n closing the visor, there's really no significant difference unless u have bad vision from the start. BUY IT!!!!

I bought two replacement visors. One was clear the other smoke tint. Both fit well on my icon helmet. The locking tab really locks the visor down tight. I would say almost too tight, as it is difficult to open at times. I'm currently running the tinted visor and it is tinted enough to take the bite of the daytime glare, but light enough to ride at night without being an issue. Overall great product.

Easy swap for the helmet. Literally all you need is a quarter. Takes about 2 minutes in total. The light smoke seems like the perfect tint and it’s a huge improvement over the stock clear plastic. No more squinting or straining due to the sun being in your eyes. It’s also anti fog and it does do it’s job. Very happy with the upgrade

This shield is crystal clear looking through. So much so, you forget it’s there! Perfect amount of tint. Like a med/lighter pair of sunglasses. The chrome is great and nobody can see your face at all

I dunno if it’s in my head, but I notice that during the daytime when it’s overcast, yellow tint helps me see better than clear and certainly better than a smoke or other darker color.Also feels better to me with yellow tint on those times you are a bit later getting back to home base and it’s getting darker out but need visor down. Again, could just be me but I see a bit better (though when it’s truly dark get your clear one out!).Would recommend.

I noticed the clear shield that came with the helmet had a small Gap at the bottom but this light smoke shield appeared to seal better.The T1 helmet does not have a groove for the arms of sunglasses so some glasses won't fit. Mine however, have very thin arms so I can wear them with the helmet so the light smoke works very well with sunglasses. If you can't wear sunglasses with your T1, I would recommend the dark smoke instead.
