I think it is big for "normal tortillas" but I loved it. I used with some bread to keep it warm. It's kind of expensive but worth it.

made well nice size but I don't really understand how I am supposed to heat the tortillas. I wrote to the company but they did not get back to me. I use it more for rolls and garlic bread. would not rebuy

Ovviamente le tortillas sono solo un richiamo alla specialità messicana ed il cestino in rattan si presta alla conservazione di tutte le innumerevoli varianti, dalle piadine alle crêpes, dai tacos ai wraps.Lo scalda tortillas consente di prepararle comodamente, riporle nel cestino e poi servirle a tavola; la lavorazione in rattan consente il corretto passaggio d’aria di modo che le piadine non sudino perdendo di consistenza e freschezza ed il canovaccio in cotone contemplato dal packaging, posto alla base del cestino contribuisce a mantenerle calde ed asciutte.Degne di nota le finiture perfette che impreziosiscono la tavola imbandita con una piacevole e notabile resa estetica.

Wir essen seit einiger Zeit gerne Tacos und Tortillas. Auch die Roti der indischen Küche werden häufig zubereitet.Diese Fladen flexibel und warm zu halten, ist mit dem Flechtkorb nun kein Problem mehr.Der Korb ist sauber verarbeitet und das mitgelieferte Küchentuch von guter Qualität.Man feuchtet das Tuch an und legt es auf die Hälfte geklappt in den Korb, so dass man den oberen Teil zusammen mit dem Deckel anheben kann. So flutschen die Tacos von der Pfanne ins Behältnis und sorgen durch ihre Hitze für das Verdampfen des Wassers im Tuch. In dieser feuchtwarmen Umgebung behalten die Tacos und auch Pfannkuchen ihre Elastizität, das Maismehl wird korrekt gedämpft und die Fladen sind für die weitere Zubereitung der Gerichte sehr gut zu handhaben.Das Baumwolltuch sorgt dafür, dass ausdampfende Feuchte aufgefangen wird und nicht auf die Fladen zurück tropfen kann, wie das bei Kunststoff-Wärmern passiert.Der Preis ist mMn angemessen und für ein größeres Geschenk an Liebhaber der mittel-und südamerikanischen Küche ebenso geeignet wie für Leute, die gerne Sonntags warme Brötchen essen.
