Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is gentler on knives than plastic and easier to clean and maintain than hardwood— it cleans quickly with hand washing in warm water.

I enjoy making mixed drinks but the salt rimming containers kept corroding and would give the salt a bad taste. I wanted something that looked nice but was not metal and these bamboo containers are the perfect. They look nice, don't rust and work for majority of the glassware I use for cocktails. The magnetic catch is not super strong but since I know that I'm careful not to spill the contents. I actually own 4 of these with various salts and sugar for cocktail drinks. Highly recommend this product.

I was tired of my girlfriend leaving a plate of salt on the counter for her nightly margarita - so I purchased this nifty little salt keeper. It works perfect for keeping the salt where it should be and looks nice enough to leave it out on my kitchen counter. The quality is very good and I would recommend this to anyone that likes salted rims!

What's not to like, solid bamboo construction, good lid secured by magnet, and looks great on a shelf. This is a great way to make a professional grade margarita at home. Pair this with the marg salt of your choice and you'll be salt rimming glasses like a pro. I specifically like this one because it is made from bamboo, a highly replenishable resource and the lid means you can store the salt in here without worrying about spilling it or having to transfer to a different storage container between uses.

I love this salt tray very very nice and makes me happy. The first one I ordered was cracked where the magnet is but - Amazon quickly sent me a replacement one and I could not be happier with this purchase. I am ready to make Margs and use this bamboo salt box to rim all of my margarita glasses.

After about a year the dowel holding the lid on started to come up, leaving the lid loose and wobbly. When I pushed it back down the seam holding the sides together split. It also wicks water up if it touches wetness on the counter. I’m looking for a replacement now, probably ceramic. Hopefully that would hold together forever. I just definitely don’t want plastic anything.
