I can’t speak for longevity, but it seems as well made as it can be for the material used. It is a kite sort of material, which can be hard to stitch durably. It seems like most of the Velcro has been reinforced, so perhaps the makers listened to some of the complaints about Velcro coming off? The price is a bit steep, but the design is absolutely BRILLIANT and infinitely versatile, plus packs up in a very small bag. Yes, a sheet and cushions also work fine, but it takes fort building to the next level. It’s fun even for the grown ups to use. It seems like it’d clean up easily if someone spilled something on it. You WILL need two kits (if you want to build large canopies or structures, but my kids also had fun with just one before we ordered the second set. All of that said, I feel it’s worth it!

Our kids range in ages from 4-11 and this has been a huge hit in our home. They have creatively transformed our family room into a castle, a dungeon, a rocket ship and a cave. I love that it is easy for them to use and it is extremely easy to clean up. The material is durable and lightweight which is nice at home but it also has made it easy for us to pack up and for them to have something to play with while we travel. Great product!

Appreciate the thought put into the design. All the velcro spots and tie downs make many setup options possible. The included slits along the edge allowed me to use twine to tie down to other areas. My one complaint is they only include 3 weighted bags with the product. I would assume 4 would have been provided to allow all 4 corners to be secured. Plenty of work arounds for that and my kids loved it.

This is a truly fantastic product! I was a little worried about the material after reading some of the reviews, but there was no issue at all. They were perfect size, material, wait. They are slippery so they will slide off of each other, but that’s totally OK! My only suggestion is for the company, maybe make it a possibility to buy extra bean bag weights. Those are pure genius and I would love to have more than just three :-)

I was skeptical at first because this seemed a little expensive, but it was actually really well worth it. We bought these to go with a few fort-building sets, and they worked great. The sandbags also get played with on their own separately in all sorts of ways. My kids really liked messing with the sheets and velcroing them in various ways. Our cats also really liked attacking the sheets, which made my kids EXTREMELY happy as they screamed from inside and fought off the monsters trying to bring down their fort. My one caution is that the cats were able to bring down the fort eventually, after several hours of kid fun and then cat fun throughout the night. The kids were even more excited to wake up in the morning and see the wreckage and then rebuild. And that was just the first time we used them - this pattern has repeated several time since, and neither kids nor cats have gotten bored. Highly recommended.

This was a great gift- we received one for my son a few years back and we’ve given them as gifts to many others.It’s very easy to build forts with this, doesn’t require a ton of help from parents and when you’re done everything can go back into the carrying case.

Great idea and concept. Worth every penny. No more using blankets/sheets and moving objects around the house just to keep them in place. The material is high quality and sewn together really well. The Velcro holds under pressure and is also sewn well. All pieces fit nicely in the tote bag for travel and storage which is also very durable and makes cleanup a breeze. Very easy to use, a 5-year-old who has built forts from blankets and sheets can figure out how to use it.

I'm giving this 3 stars because my girls, 3 and 5 yrs old, really do love it. It makes awesome--big--forts and it's easy enough for them to do by themselves(most of the time at least). Unfortunately, the velcro fasteners that are sewn to the corners are falling off. Every single one has fallen off or is literally hanging on by a thread. Not durable at all. My girls aren't playing with this rough, it's just not reinforced well. For now I am collecting each velcro piece that comes unattached and plan to sew them back on correctly, but obviously, I shouldn't have to do this. I wouldn't say that it's "poor quality" as the blankets themselves and the little weighted bags all seem to be holding up. It's really just sewn poorly. It's frustrating because we really do love this toy and it could be great if it wasn't coming apart.
