We live in South Dakota, and the weather is brutal on our garbage cans. My husband was getting tired of purchasing a new garbage can every year. I did deep research with loads of comparisons, and the Toter appeared to be the best can for our needs. It’s very sturdy, well made, and much larger than I expected. The big wheels are ideal for taking the garbage down our long, steep driveway. The best part, it arrived a week earlier than expected. I’ll post an update after It goes through a South Dakota winter. Great buy for a quality product. (The picture show the size of the can next to two 60 pound Labradors)

This this is amazing. It is the Abrams tank of trash cans. It’s nearly indestructible. It rolls over all shorts of terrain from the swamps of eastern Ukraine through the deserts of the Middle East. And it may cost more than other trash cans. But that’s okay. Because this trash can defends freedom and ensures our ability to take out the trash, an American pastime.Seriously though. You’ll never have to replace this trash can. It’s a beast.

If you keep an eye out for a sale, you can get the 64 gallon version from Amazon for just under $70, which is about the same price local big box and warehouse stores sell it for, but with the convenience of not needing to figure out how to get it home.At that price, the Toter is a pretty great deal, relative to similar sized cans in the price range. The construction is rigid, but won't shatter if it gets hit by a car or garbage truck (I've seen both happen, and the Toter didn't even crack or lose shape).Wheeling it around is a breeze for me at 6'1", and the geometry makes it easy to move a full load around for most adults and older children.I bought this to match one I bought a few months ago, but noticed that they seem to have redesigned the 64 gallon a little bit. The lid is no longer the same as pictured. It now looks much more similar to the 96 gallon model. It's not a big deal, and you'd really have to look to notice a difference, but functionally, the older design had an upper lip that made it a bit easier (and cleaner) to open.Nothing I'd send it back for, but if I had known, I probably would have gone back to the store to get the older style.

The can arrived five days late (FedEx) in this condition. You might say this is FedEx's fault, but the seller clearly did nothing to protect the outside of the can either. Even some small amount of plastic wrap would have prevented this nasty scuffed up mess.As far as the can itself goes it appears to be functional, but is not as heavy duty as I was hoping for the price.

Both of my pervious cans were cracked and now I use just this one can in there place. It has given me more room in the garage and is very heavy duty item. I enjoy this products quality.
