We love Totes umbrellas! Ever since I purchased my first one, my husband has been wanting one of his own--preferably without pretty pink and yellow tulips all around the border. So I found an absolutely clear one, perfect for a guy!These umbrellas come with a dusty powder coating inside the plastic to keep the plastic from sticking before you open it. It's not a nylon material--it's plastic, and moisture can cause it to stick, hence the powder. So when you use it, you need to let it dry COMPLETELY before storing it. So if I'm out and about for the day, I just make sure I re-open it at night to completely air-dry it. However, I love it because you can practically cover the upper half of your body in a blustery rainstorm, and still see where you're going because of the clear material. It doesn't flip inside out when the winds blow--I just point it in the direction of the wind and it keeps me dry, along with a backpack, purse, etc.The cons of this umbrella are few:1. It is not small--you can't fold it into a cute little bag or something.2. You have to let it completely airdry before folding it up--but you should probably do that to all umbrellas to prevent mold.The pros:1. Large enough to keep even a tall guy (like my 6-foot hubby) dry over the shoulders.2.Allows you to see the oncoming traffic when crossing the street or parking lot during a downpour.3. Designs for ALL people's preferences--Totes has a ton of them!4.Good solid handle for gripping in a windy storm.5.No flipping inside out when strong winds hit! (We live out on the wide-open plains of the Midwest--we KNOW wind!)We now own THREE of these in our house. Gone are the days of buying an umbrella that flips inside out the minute you step outside!

This is like the picture. I actually thought it would be smaller but there was plenary of room for an adult , sturdy , and has the exact color as in the picture. The umbrella covered myself and my large bag, one time a backpack, and myself and a friend. It was easy to use . After the rain and heavy rain the appearance remained the same , it was water resistant, held up to a bit of wind, and worth the money.

This is the CUTEST umbrella!! All the little details and colors really pop on the clear surface material. Great quality and seems to be sturdy thus far (only used it twice). It is also larger than I anticipated - perfect golf umbrella or any outdoor event on a rainy day. I’m extremely happy with it and especially so at this price point.

It’s cute, clear/see through, I like the dome shape/ it’s not tiny, keeps me dry and It’s lightweight. Lightweight almost cheap feeling, I’m not crazy about is the handle. The handle curves up at the bottom. I prefer it straight. This is just a personal preference. I chose to buy it anyway. I’ve only used it a couple of times and it hasn’t broken or bent yet.

Bought as part of a Trunk or Treat costume. Looked great, gave the right effect.Then a couple weeks later I needed to use it in the rain. Worked great. Love that it gives great coverage and easy to see thru the plastic =)

I have three grandchildren, all of whom play outdoor fall and sports, so I spend lots of time standing in the rain, snow, cold, & wind! The umbrellas I used to use just weren't holding up in the weather and I found myself using more of my time wrestling with a product that behaved more like a kite, or getting soaking wet and/or cold when the wind blew from the side.At a football game, I saw someone with a dome-style umbrella that seemed to meet my needs perfectly, so I searched Amazon when I got home, to see if I could find anything similar. I happened upon the "Totes Luggage Clear Bubble Umbrella" and knew I just had to have one. The price was modest and I knew the brand name Totes had a good reputation so I ordered one right away.It has not been a disappointment, that's for sure. The material is a sturdy, thick, clear plastic that I'm able to see through, despite the different weather conditions, as water runs right off of it and drips on the ground, not on ME! Because of the dome-like design, it completely covers me, to mid-thigh. This style really helps in the wind and goes a long way toward keeping me warm.It's a larger umbrella than usual, due to the design, and it doesn't have a button to push that automatically opens it, which is also because of the design, so you have to do that manually. The handle is long and very sturdy, but easy to grip. Overall, it's somewhat heavier than most umbrellas, bit has to be, due to the dome. I thought the plastic might fog up, especially if it was cold outside and I was breathing on the plastic from the inside, but I was pleasantly surprised that I could always see.In addition to being outside watching sports, this is a perfect accessory for walking along the street, as it will protect your makeup and hair, along with much of your clothing, so you will arrive at your destination, looking just fine! I recommend this wonderful umbrella without hesitation.

I never bought a high quality umbrella like this one before, but it makes a world of a difference on my daily commutes!This umbrella is larger than expected, but that is good. This umbrella keeps me dry and protected while walking on the sidewalks during rainy commutes. The material is thick enough to keep me dry during windy days.I love this umbrella for sure! I am really glad I got an umbrella that will last longer than one season! I recommend this for anyone that is a mass transit commuter!

Great umbrella, the material is fairly light so I don’t imagine it will stand up to the wind, so wind resistance is low.Haven’t used it a lot so unsure of durabilityGood value and cute design 🥰

My daughter has been using it for over 2 seasons now, and won't use any other umbrella. Its her favorite one!She's 11 years old as of this review.
