I've used this wrap to ice my horse's knee after she has banged it in the trailer. It stays on well and remains cold for quite some time so long as your horse remains still such as on cross ties or standing quietly. This product is well thought out, easy to secure, (although I haven't made use of the sewn in keepers), durable, easy to clean and has a lot of icy surface area. I could see using it on myself if needed. I recommend this to any one needing a portable icing solution.

The ice boot came in very fast which was awesome as I need it for my horse who has cellulitis right now. I got it today, put it in freezer for about an hr and then put it on my horse. I probably should have let it get a little colder before using it because the cold lasted about 10/15 mins. Of course my horses leg is really hot right now, thanks cellulitis and mud fever. I used it on his hock and the straps at first looked like they might not make it all the way around (he is a 16.2 hand ottb) but they have some stretch to them so I was able to make it work. I am pleased with product and seller.

I am a big fan of Tough One horse products however this knee wrap was too heavy and slipped down immediately. Perhaps a standing wrap may have held it in place. However my horse's injury was on the knee cap - he tore off the skin around the knee. Luckily I have been able to devise other methods to keep him safe.

I have Tough 1 ice boots for my horse's tendons. I was looking for a better fitting, affordable pair of hock ice boots, so I tried these. I am very happy with them!

I've tried Back on Track knee and hock wraps, didn't fit and SmartPak, didn't laat. Third time's a charm, uniformly warm stay on.
