These are a great set of bearings. I used swiss bearings when I played competitive inline hockey. These days I just play pick-up for fun so I was looking for something more affordable. Well, these have worked great for me and I haven't noticed a significant drop-off in performance.

My rollerblades came with ILQ-9 bearings which were outstanding. After wearing out my wheels/bearings I bought new wheels that came with cheap bearings and they were awful. It almost felt like skating on carpet. I bought these to try and improve them w/out spending too much money. Now while these were a big improvement from the cheap bearings, they are not nearly as good as the ILQ-9 bearings my skates came with. For example when I used to spin my wheels they would continue to spin for a minute or more... with these they only spin for about 2 seconds before stopping. I still give these 4 stars however since they are less than half the price of the other bearings, although when I wear these out I will be spending more $$ for better bearings as I have a need for speed!

Arrived a day earlier than expected. Much better than the similar product from Academy Sports as they roll much better.

There decent for the rink for normal skating. I feel sluggish after a few sessions. I've gone through several of these and decided to try ceramic for a change. There decent bearings though. Good for the money.

I bought a pair of mission rollerblades in probably 1999. The other day I pulled them out of my closet and figured I'd get some new wheels and bearings to give them a go again. I took two wheels, installed one with the original bearings and one with these, and tested to see which would spin longer on my blades. I found the bearings that came with my rollerblades, the ones that have been sitting in a closet for well over 10 years still spun longer than these brand new ones.

junk bearings used once in indoor rink made noise rolled like they have sand in them gonna soak in liquid graphite to see if that help should of spent the extra money on twin cam bearings

I've inline skating for a decade. I run through a set of bearing a year. These ABEC 9 were a good value. They are as durable as the best of them.
