First thing I have to say they fit fantastic. The price was awesome. Now about their effectiveness. A week prior to ordering these I had to ride my bike in the rain. I thought no problem; I have a Frog Tog Rain Suit and a snap on face shield so I'm gold. Wrong!! The suit kept my body bone dry and the face shield kept my face safe from stinging rain, but my feet got soaked. Fast forward to now!! I put these covers on my boots and drove home in a down pour and this time I was bone dry top to bottom. These covers work great. The fact that they do not have hard rubber soles make them store in less space. They use elastic around the heel and the water proof material wraps around the toe so they fit snug and kept me dry even when I put my feet up on my highway pegs. Would I walk in them when I got to where I was going? Of course not, they are meant to wear while riding and with Velcro and zippers they go on and off quickly. So I give these puppies my full endorsement!!! RIDE ON!!!

Went on a long motorcycle trip - these worked well when it was raining to protect my tennis shoes from getting wet!

Keeps my feet dry and still holding up. There is an opening for the heal. The part I worry about, is the part on the sole. When you put your feet down, as you stop, it can be very easy to lose your footing. It slides on the fabric. For this reason, I would consider this unsafe.

I ride my motorcycle to work and back everyday in Florida where it also rains everyday. I ride about 20 miles each way. Since getting these covers, my feet have never been wet! The best part is that I can put them on over any shoes that I happen to be wearing thus alleviating the need to carry an extra set of rain boots. I have been very happy with this product. The only negative thing I can say about them is that the toes are cloth and go over your whole front third of the shoe, the back two-thirds, from your arch to your heel are exposed on the bottom. Because of this, when you stop and put your feet down, you want to make sure to use your heels and not your toes because the cloth gets slippery when wet, but at least the bottoms of your shoes in the heel area are there to grip the road. All in all, I'm VERY happy with these covers. When mine wear out, I'll buy more!

Waterproof but dangerous. I tried them on 2 occasions hoping that they were just new and needed to be broken in. The bottom tread is like using a sheet of ice to hold the bike up at a stop. Broke down and spent the money on a pair of Harley brand which has Exceptional bottom tread and heavier material.

Will not stay up at all. They do go on pretty easy and keeps the boots dry, BUT you cannot walk without them sliding down my leg. This to me makes them useless. I tried putting them on next to the bike, but in a down pour I got too wet.

Item as discribed.Have not yet used but they look to be sturdy enough and the price point was correct as they will not be used daily.Update - I have had these on in two heavy downpours and they worked great. The elastic around the heal of my boots did their job and the covers stayed put so my boots stayed dry. The construction that leaves your heal to the ground is a good thing as the front cover which is over your boot sole can get slippery so having the heal bare to keep a firm grip is a good thing.These covers are IMO a great deal as they are inexpensive yet get the job done.

Used these right away in the rain, and they did a good job of keeping my shoes dry. I don't really like the material that is underneath the toe area. It can be just a bit slick, but not horrible. I did not have any issues, but I did notice it. Maybe it gets better with wearing it, but I have only used them one time so far. They do roll up small, so storing them in the saddle bags is a breeze. Great to have if you need them.
