Decent orchestra mute that does tryr job. Fits well on my violin and having three means I have spares in case I lose one (which is what seems to happen all too often going back and forth between rehearsals and home practice). Costs as much as I would have paid for a single replacement.

These mutes are ok, but I've already lost one of them because they fit too loosely. Good thing it came in a pack of 3! The sound is good. (I am a teacher and orchestral violinist.)

Not as quiet as a full bridge mute but lessens the scratchy noise of the bow to string connection.

Amazing use, used it for certain parts of the music and it was great! If you’re looking for something to muffle or lessen the sound of your instrument I would look into a full all string mute. For the purpose of using it when the music needs the instrument to put on the mute it was great!
