Definitely works great in a tow vehicle application for RV-ers. It did take a few tries going back and forth with the manufacturer for them to get the connections right, but they were easy to reach and very willing to work it out. If you’re going on a trip more than a day away, be sure to recharge overnight before going in your next leg. It is much easier and far less expensive than getting your tow vehicle wired, and will not void any warranties on your tow vehicle.

I've had this now for a few years and it's holding up good. It works great and has great battery life considering the storage and conditions is used in. I use it for my wrecker and I've had to replace the battery once witch is a pain with all the short wires cramed in the end that the battery had to come out.

I realize Towmate is a well known quality based US company, that's why I was a little surprised when I received the package. The LED strip had separated from the base and was dangling from the wires when opened in a WELL packaged box. See photos.I went ahead and torqued the screws back into the base since the holes didn't appear stripped.I powered up the wireless Tow light and verified it against the WIFI transmitter attached to the RV and all seemed Ok.When the LED base is attached to the top of the car the large screw that was protruding from the bottom was rubbing on the roof so I installed a small strip of teflon tape to prevent chaffing. I also changed out the smaller round head screw that was holding the rubber plug to the charge port with a flat head screw and washer.Notice the large sheet metal screw on the bottom where the magnets are attached, this area should be kept clear of any large screw heads protruding from the bottom since they may come in contact with the roof that are not perfectly flat.I would recommend to the company they use flat head machine screws instead of large round head sheet metal screws to attach components to the base and keep the clearance as much as possible since some roofs have a slight concave arch to them and may come in contact with any screws attached to the bottom of the base between the magnets.Overall the Wireless Tow Light is very visible and appears to hold a good charge.

Awesome. Really marks the "toad". Traffic actually reacts to braking and turn signal lights now when we tow behind our RV. Simple to use, set up etc.
