my 5-year-old niece loves this! The music is very loud on this, so we opted to not put the batteries in, ha-ha!! She has been using this almost every day since Christmas to get ready. So, it is holding up pretty well so far. The makeup is semi-pigmented which is fine because she is only 5. It is a very cute set, and I like how everything fits into the case and be closed and put away.

This is a cute little vanity set. I got it for my 4 yo daughter who is obsessed with all things dress up. The vanity itself is fine, it's light but durable plastic, easy to haul around the house for princess parties. The little plastic mirror inside is much nicer than anticipated, as you can actually see yourself in it.The big downside is the makeup. First of all, it just looks cheap and awful, exactly as expected. What I did not expect was for it to entirely gel based and nearly impossible to wash off. It all went in the trash pretty immediately after our first makeover. Do yourself a favor and trash the makeup before giving it to your kiddo. It gets everywhere and will stain. I went and got some cheap drugstore stuff to replace it and I'm so glad I did. The little brush and sponge that come in the kit are fine, but I also got a couple cheap makeup brushes to supplement. We play this thing almost daily, so it's worth the price even with replacing the makeup.

My two granddaughters, ages 2 1/2 and 4 play with this makeup set every time they visit. The make-up is easy to remove with soap and water. The girls played with it for over an hour and they were ecstatic when they first opened it. Grandma hit the bullseye with a fun, creative toy for the little girls.

Bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter. She loves it. Real make up comes in it. Does require 6 AAA batteries in order for some things to work. Well worth it though. She plays with it everyday. Worth the money.

This product was delayed during delivery multiple times. Once received it was clear that the box had been opened and taped back together. The mirror was scratched up and some of the make up had fingerprints in it!! It had clearly been used and returned prior to being sent to me. This was a Christmas g8ft for my granddaughter. I am very very disappointed and this item is not eligible for return. I feel like I was ripped off!
