It's chalk! Works great, perfect chinky size for clumsy little hands. I do like the bucket, but another reviewer mentioned it was difficult to get every piece back in. The pieces are dry, and don't slide down into the bucket against each other nicely. Meh, not surprising to me.My driveway has a slope to it, and I was DELIGHTED to realize that the tapered design of the chalk allows it to roll in a circle! So glad I won't need to chase it down the road! Great design, five stars for that alone! The colors run true, the blue is truly blue, good bright white. The yellow seems pretty similar, but again: its chalk. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a sturdy set for their kids.

So my three kids (aged 20 months to 3 years) love this product. The fat chalk is very easy to hold. The price is very low. We let them mark up our sidewalk and write letters and they have a ton of fun. It washes off with every rain. It breaks easily but not sure what chalk doesn't. It's easy to wash off their fingers and we love the many different colors. The chalk is easy to put back into the container.

I like the little tub of chalk, I wasn't as big as I've bought the kids before, But this is gong for the entertainment of some little ones so they should be happy.My own grandchildren had a larger container and each have used it to color the concrete on the porch and sidewalks, They have enjoyed it very much. One of the grandsons even drew his dad a Fathers day card on the sidewalk for his father to find he he picked him up.. :-)

I bought this for my 20 month old who loves it. She does tend to throw it and it does break, but the pieces break into pieces that are large enough to use comfortably and it holds up amazingly well when left out in the rain. She is still on the first four pieces of chalk that I gave her two months later even though she has decorated the driveway on multiple occasions. I would buy again.

It’s definitely sidewalk chalk!! Good colors, easy cleanup, sturdy bucket. The best part is that I know where to get it. I don’t have to go to five stores trying to find chalk which is what I’ve done in the past. Time saving reliability. Thank you
